Don’t disagree but the advice on behavior from the Mod was well put.  But it is quite possible that no one reported anything.  One poster specifically addressed a post to the Mods in here that may have drawn attention.

Not much competition.  I really don’t value PFF analysis much. Tends to be generic and I suspect a fair amount of coaches reaction is that they are wrong.  That said, I expect that as long as he can walk, JP will have one of the best kick steps on Earth as far as technique.  Just a little slower moving back each year.

He gets a senior citizen discount and is allowed to move 2 seconds early on each snap.

Have to bet that the Vikings told Howie that a 5 was it because they could have an equal receiver for a four.  Howie probably responded with offering to take a conditional 4 that "de escalates” to a five in a later year but only if they threw in a seven next year.

Uggg Mims ,that guy makes Osi look like sand paper.

Reagor has been pretty awful but if I were the Vikings and had a choice between reagor or mims id take a bag of chips.

Buying current player jerseys has now bitten me in the arse the last 3 times I’ve done it.  Then I realized how stupid it was to purchase a jersey of a player that nowadays is almost certain to be gone within a few years, so I decided to stick with cawk.

Like your general thinking here. Andy was all about surprise em, didn't see that coming kinda thing.

Wasn't afraid to throw a twist in there now and again.

We've gotten away from that.

With the powerhouse O lineman currently deployed, a Jumbo Package might just be a thing.

I did predict a Mailata TD on a designed running play. Hope it comes true. :smoke:

I would like to see it happen so often that it isn't really a surprise.   Cam Jurgens really looks to be that good, what we're seeing in preseason, with the ability to run and smash, and what he did in high school.  I refuse to believe that the guy who was the #4 TE coming out of high school has forgotten how to do the most simple and basic TE things.  I also don't believe at all that playing TE or FB is somehow more dangerous than playing Center, and I would say that playing Center is more dangerous.

You put Cam in,  he's FB,  or he's TE,  or you put him in at LG,  pushing Landon to LT,  pushing Mailata to TE, or you then move Mailata to the backfield.  6 OL,  and one of them is eligible to catch a pass,  one could be in the backfield.

Additionally,  the only thing the 5 OLs can't do is catch a forward pass.  If you wanted to hand the ball to Mailata, even if he's at the LT spot,  you just have him pull and hand the ball to him.   (OLs who take handoffs must at some point turn and face backward.  Otherwise it's seen as an illegal trick play)   Those 5 OLs can all throw a pass as well.

I agree that Mailata running for a TD would be a good thing and I'm in favor of it.

But I'd say that in goal line situations,  put in the bigs + Hurts, and run.

The Eagles are good this year.   I don't think it will be very difficult for them to march down the field,  with a lot of high percentage passes from Hurts to AJ Brown.  It seems like that's a basic thing that will just work.  The normal players the Eagles have, doing the normal things,  will just work.   But when the Eagles are at the goal line,  those RBs are just too small.  They have players who with minimal training, if they even need that, can and should be on the field,  physically dominating with their size and athleticism.  People like that.  People liked when Lane Johnson caught a TD last year.  Those big OLs, those freakbeasts,  and I'm including Jordan Davis here.   I think Milton Williams could be included as well.  285 and 4.67 40 for him.   Those are the players who should be out on the field.    You're allowed to push your own players forward.  Whoever is carrying the ball,  add Jordan Davis pushing him.    The Eagles have physical domination in goal line situations,  unless they don't use it.    They shouldn't be using normal plays with normal players in those goal line situations.  The jumbo package should be automatic.

You just used "not” and "lol” as jokes in your post.  You are more vanilla than Gannon’s defense without talent sir.

Calling it first here. Jordan Davis will be part of the goal line package.

I'm not sure that "first" is right, but I'm in favor of that.  He had a rushing TD last year.
Here's a prediction.   At least 3 TDs from non standard players.  OL or defense.  Last year,  Lane had one.  Maybe there were others I can't remember.

Was surprised they even drafted him in the 3rd round. Seams like a waste of a 3rd round pick for the 9ers. Was he really that bad in camp?

Eagles tried for Mond before they got Book.

If you are ever going to do any kind of work on your garage door, don’t forget to release the tension in the torsion spring. Don’t ask how I know.

dont they be making those doors without springs these days?

We are going to be building a garage very soon and I wanna know this stuff. I thought they are chain driven nowadays.

At least that's what I read, maybe I'm wrong seems the mods would be worried about a group of posters banning together through pm to target one specific poster to troll.

They don't care about that though they just don't want us talking about politics or reporting each other all the time and  would rather we handle our own business like men not tattling children.

Please just stop.  We are all well aware of how you feel about the trolling escapade.  But you have stooped to a level of trolling yourself.  Frankly, it has become tiresome and invites me taking the Mod’s advise and using the ignore function on you.  We literally are talking about the current roster, recent trades and cuts.  Actual Eagles stuff.

I have no issue and actually enjoy discourses of other subjects. The math stuff actually was enjoyable to me and the insurance and personal injury folk had a fun turn with a slip and fall gif.  Both @TorontoEagle (whose Strong posts were actually funny) and @NCiggles posted some funny quips in their responses.  I really got a kick out of @Iggles_Phan and @justrelax discussing a Dillard trade in terms of Civil War officers.  But did you notice that those were free of attacks on each other and short discourses.  I would suggest yours should have been as well.  Enough.

You’re actually calling it 5th.  There was an exchange a few days ago where some people got quite pissy about it

I talk about that all the time, have been since I've been here.

I wanted the Eagles to draft Jordan Davis.  I predicted that the Eagles would trade up to get Jordan Davis.  I wanted the Eagles to draft Cam Jurgens.  Both those guys are goal line guys,  and Cam Jurgens should be on the field often as a 6 OL who could line up anywhere, not only in short yardage, goal line situations.   The Ravens have Nick Boyle and Patrick Ricard.

Do the Eagles now have an affection for QBs that can run but can't throw?   Mond is awful.

I'd rather Mond than Book.  🤷‍♂️.  But I am starting to question their ability to scout the QB position at all now.

You put Cam Jurgens on the field.   When Cam Jurgens is on the field,  that allows a lot of different things to happen.  If Jurgens plays OL,  that means that Kelce or Mailata or whatever OL you want,  becomes eligible.

I think that Jurgens is one of the best 11 on offense, and I'd want to see him out there.  If they put him out there,  that makes it a lot easier for the wild predictions about Kelce and Mailata to come true.

Espn had Cam Jurgens as the 4th best Tight End coming out of High School.

The Eagles have a great OL,  with great backups like Jurgens.   The skill position players are a bit on the light side, overall.  But if Jurgens is in there,  that is no longer true.   The Eagles have freakbeasts that can carry the ball and block great.   Also Jordan Davis.
