Sucks to hear.

Wasn't there a player who just transferred that was kinda bashing Leach on his way out?  Probably doesn't look too good now.

When's the last time the super bowl winner had a worse season record that the super bowl loser the next year?

Yeah. wasn’t a good look for the kid to begin with. Looks worse after the fact. Lean and I discussed that yesterday.

I love all of these pillars in here acting like they haven't been eating crow all year long after months of "Hurts is RB 1, can't throw the football, we need Carson Strong, we need Russell Wilson, we need Watson, Swag" LOL.  Oddly enough, it was the same guys who have been saying since year 1 that Sanders is a bust.

I never said Hurts was going to be MVP.  What I did say is that he was a winner, a gamer and a hard worker.  Because of that he had a good chance of improving

You want a trophy?

Last weeks prediction winner was @MillerTime who came closest with a prediction of a 41-20 blowout.

Bonus winners for the week are:

@Aerolithe_Lion Barkley less than 15 carries

@DrPhilly Boston Scott TD

@garingovt2000 Lions beat Vikings

@jamiller Barkley less than 100 and Sanders over 100 rushing yards

@LeanMeanGM Eagles have no false start penalties

@RememberTheKoy Sanders & Hurts both have 60+ rushing yards

@SkippyX Eagles rush for 160+

What a loser

Like mostert but he’s been made of glass til this year. That said since the dolphins made the trade for Jeff Wilson Jr, Wilson has looked like the better back. That said he got hurt on Sunday night and it looks like mostert is gonna get the touches in Buffalo.

just saying i think Buffalo is going to just destroy the dolphins this weekend. Hill is dealing with a foot injury. Waddle has disappeared from the offense. And tua has looked bad the last two weeks. Add on 7 inches of snow in Buffalo for a warm weather team. Also revenged factor for Buffalo from the loss earlier this year. I don’t know what the spread is on that game but i see the bills just rolling in that game.

No doubt.  Just remembering back to that preseason.  He was running all over.  He's turned it into a nice career, especially for a UDFA.

Can’t believe we almost traded the whole team for him

Do you really have some? I’d like one

Maybe but that's likely more of a function of exposure more so than talent. Most haven't really seen what Miles can do, unfortunately. Meanwhile Mixon gets a ton of opportunities every year to put large numbers in aggregate.

No disagreement there. Miles not missing a half dozen games this year has certainly helped himself.

DeVonta Smith has possibly only 3 games left (if starters rest week 18) to reach 1000 yards. He needs 225 yards. It would require him to have the biggest 3 game stretch of the season since weeks 2-4. In weeks 2, 3, and 4 he accumulated that many yards aided by his 169 yard performance.

Seems very unlikely.

With that kind of volume? Better for sure, if his health holds up.

Yes.

No false starts? Solid prediction, I like that one a lot

Time for the Falcons team to rally together and play their best game of the years vs da Saints

Hopefully Ridder gives them that weird team spark other teams get when they suddenly switch QB's. It's going to be tough against the Saints D though.

He is criminally underused in this offense

Ridder can sling it and run. He has nothing to lose so may as well let it all hang out

Field position plays a significant effect on gross average.  The frequency of Eagles drives that end inside their own 40 is lower than other teams, so the frequency of punting opportunities to kick a long punt is also low.  Interestingly enough the punter with the longest gross average is the Titans’ punter, and wea saw what those long punts did for Covey.

I only ever care about net average.

I believe my bonus prediction with my pre-season record prediction was that we would have 2 1000 yard WRs.

Its looking like a bit of a long shot.
