I think Fox typically has the double header the odd numbered weeks. Seems they always have it week 1.

After finding it on 506 sports, I think both networks have a double header week 1.

I wonder if that's somewhat new. I think the final week, they usually had double headers on both networks. Maybe my memory is off.

They started a lot of new quirks last year with all the new deals, like no MNF double header week 1 anymore

If that's the case, then Nate Ilaoa doesn't even qualify for the award because he didn't have any production at all in the preseason games. The reason he became a "thing" was because he was hyped after the draft based on his Youtube videos and Eagles fans got a hard-on about the thought of having a power back. Then comes training camp and he doesn't do anything and he quickly vanishes into obscurity.

To me, that's virtually the same damn thing as Carson Strong.

He had multiple carries in all 4 preseason games.  Carson Strong got 5 plays.

Yes. He hasn't played a full 17 game season yet

A little lesson to all.  The only reason that Carson Strong was getting hyped up here, is a bunch of us had a PM conversation after he was signed, and started one massive troll.  Others figured it out and followed along.

The architects of this epic troll job are myself, @Swoop @LeanMeanGM @Texas Eagle @TorontoEagle and @4for4EaglesNest.

@Outlaw and @HazletonEagle were also in on it.  Not sure if we PM'd them, or they just figured it out.

Carson Strong is absolutely a Nasty Nate candidate. He's one of the Nastiest Nates of all-time. There's just a few people who are in their feelings because he was worse than Clayton Thorson and they thought he would be the starter by 2023.

Carson Strong is so qualified for the award he is a Nasty Nate 1st Ballot Hall of Famer.  People were so detached from reality with absurd expectations for him from the moment they signed him until camp actually started to play out.  People here losing their minds over videos of him throwing at rookie OTAs after the draft.  Unironically pointing to a how the Eagles sent him to represent the team in some rookie photo OP as proof of the team's intentions of becoming the franchise QB. 

I can't even recall another terrible rookie player that got as much over the top hype only to go the complete opposite end of those expectations.
