Most "zone” coverages can and that was my point.  There are so many variations of these coverages and there are reads too.

Not sure where you're getting this from but plenty of teams primarily play zone coverages with no man assignments underneath. 

 

EDIT: More than half of all play calls were Cover-3 in Seattle's scheme a few years ago...

Running about 16 pages behind but need to add something here.

I was a member of Premium TatE.

Back then, TatE was awash with all manner of ridiculous threads with no limit to the stupidity.

Premium Tate was created simply to give a place for reasoned Eagles discussions without the lunacy. It WAS Invitation only, however it wasn't exclusive or elite, just an oasis from the dreck that was TatE at the time.

Entry was easy enough, somebody trusted you to be a reasonable contributor, enough to give you the password and you were in. Simply put, " I vouch for you".

There was no vitriol, no ITYSs, no personal attacks. Opinions were considered, then accepted, rejected or challenged, based on merit, not who you were. It was not a "clique" or a circle jerk, just some people trying to have reasonable Eagles talk. I was invited by a female board member FWIW...

I think I remember GoEagles99( Tommy)  and FranklinFLdUpper debating the field conditions at the Vet at length, "does playing on Green Concrete help or hinder the Eagles". Home field advantage, we're used to playing on that Sh!t, they're not. Our advantage. Went on for a bit. Good times. Is Todd a keeper? That played out. Can Jermaine anchor Center? The ongoing debates about JJ having to rely on a broke down Jeremiah to hold the middle. 

Anyway, It too went the way of all things that are selective, self imposed or not. Those that couldn't get an invite became incensed, aware it was out there but couldn't access it. Obvious reasons, nobody trusted them. The demise was inevitable.

Now it's Open Season. Drunk Guys at a Bar yelling at each other, I think, was the latest description of the Blog.
