Not just that it makes no sense when he finally got settled in. Add on tomorrow is a bullpen game against the Diamondbacks who might be the best team in the National League right now. So using up your bullpen more than you should today with a bullpen game tomorrow puts you in a significant bind tomorrow. e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! Posted June 11, 2023 Share Posted June 11, 2023 Dbacks series is gonna tell a lot about the Phillies. The Phillies haven’t been good on the road this year, 13-22. Dbacks have won 10 of 13 and I’d argue playing the best baseball of anyone in the NL right now. They can hit and pitch. Weakness is their bullpen. Fortunately we miss gallen in the 4 game set. If we can get a split would be big especially considering we are just 3-9 in last 12 games in AZ. Add on going to game on Tuesday and Thursday. Frankly nola needs to fix the homer problem. And walker needs to fix his control/walls issue. Suarez and wheeler seem to be turning it around. The 5th starter is a lost cause cause everyone they use is awful. Need to just make a trade or get painter back which is looking like it is unlikely for a while and who knows when he comes back if he stays healthy.
