Haven’t watched the Escobar kid a ton but there’s a lot of hype around him from Twitter and some scouts

Marsh is hitting.180. Crawford couldn't do better than this bum?

Kepler .215 and marsh .191. What a tandem

At least Kepler is better than Whitfield

The bar is pretty Low on that lol he’s actually going to wind up being worse than marsh and Stott in 2024 at this pace

Kepler on pace:

.215/.301/.676 19HRs, 57 RBI, 125 Ks and 57 BBs

Marsh 2024:

.249/.328/.747 16 HRs, 60RBI, 154 Ks and 50 BBs

Stott 2024 (going to wind up playing about 10-12 less games):

.245/.315/.671 11 HRs, 57 RBI, 93 Ks and 53 BBs

Thankfully though Kepler being paid 10 mil this year. For ineptitude they could’ve gotten from

Marsh and even Rojas or Clemens. Tbh they never should’ve dealt vierling. He hasn’t played yet this year but was a cheap contract and better than Rojas, marsh and Kepler

Just pointing out O’hoppe is on pace to hit 38 HRs and 87 RBI in 140 games this year

Hope so. This team could use some young talent in the mix, both offense and pitching staff. Tired of seeing Marsh out there too, wish they could get rid of that bum.

Marshy and Kepler are fringe major league players at this point. I am convinced Crawford couldn’t be worse.

How far away is Tait?

What a fat, efen p.o.s. So not only do they need another bat, they are gonna have to try and find another high leverage BP piece. Thanks Jose.

Fing A man

This team is going nowhere. Offense sucks, #2 starter blows so bad they had to fake an injury to get him out of the rotation, and now probably their best bullpen guy busted for doing PEDs.

Yeah, that is a big loss and a massive suspension. Damn.

Likely not going to be ready til 2027 at the earliest. He’s at Clearwater now. If he gets moved up to double A at the end of the year he probably is there for next year. And then starts in triple A in 2027

The fact they went into the season relying on him to begin with was somewhat troubling. He was coming off a 2024 that wasn’t good. They were fortunate he was as good as he has been this year. And now need a high leverage LHP reliever and another reliever in general. You are always better off spending in FA and having more RP then waiting til the deadline to make those acquisitions.

Possibly. Either way it's good to see our prospects playing well. Just hope DD doesn't just send him down to rot if he pitches great today. Not sure how the Alvarado situation affects the starters and relievers... Walker could stay in the pen for a bit.

We're not really in a position to be trading away good pitching right now

I don’t think this roster is in a position or sufficiently on the cusp that we should be trading a 23 year old prospect for deadline help. Id trade him for a minor league bat who is a nice prospect, but I wouldn’t trade him for some 30 year old bullpen arm.
