23 hours ago23 hr Nola should retire at the end of the season and void the rest of his contract and tell the organization he doesn’t deserve the money. I’d forgive him after that
22 hours ago22 hr Looks like it doesn't matter that Nola straightened himself out cause they still can't fn hit
22 hours ago22 hr I’m absolutely shocked they didnt F up that bases loaded. I’m sure the bullpen will blow it in the 8th

That's it for me.Kind of disappointed.Especially with stories out there like Phillies looking at SP and looking for RH bat. And, a special F U to whoever posted the Mike Trout is a done deal story.Oh come on you couldn't seriously have been excited about that, trout is washed he would bring nothing to this team except a big name

17 hours ago17 hr Finally a win with Nola on the mound. They wasted 5 or 6 decent opportunities in a row before last night. He isn’t any good any longer but he’s done what we said the minimum needed to be over the last six or seven weeks, an ok 5th starter level pitcher.
17 hours ago17 hr An overlooked part of the Arraez trade, our numbers with RISP are about to get even worse now that he'll be getting on and left stranded constantly lmao

Clear skies for tonite's game.Arraez arrives tonite, in Philly, in the lineup.Waiting to see where he hits in the lineup. Must see tv.And the bullpen should be slightly better.3 wins in a row. Let's make it 4.Gonna keep my eye on the RISP stats. Let's get some.Side Note: Extend Arraez now. 3+ years at $15mil per year. We only pay prorate of that this year. Maybe a big signing bonus. Secure this guy's future on this team. Here's why he will sign. He gets a big signing bonus and a fair contract for 3 years. There is a potential lockout coming up. He will feel and see the security this provides.
11 hours ago11 hr Well Dave did his job..... sell a few more tickets to the fan base until the team finishes the year, and LA does it again.
10 hours ago10 hr So before the trades, the Phillies ranked 8th in MLB vegas odds to win the WS at 4.8%. After the trades, the Phillies rank 8th in vegas odds to win the WS at 5.3%.I don't have a high opinion of any of the prospects they traded away or what they were destined to do if they stayed with the Phillies....so tossing off some prospects to shuffle the deck chairs on the titanic in what WILL be the last playoff run for this roster...I'm not entirely opposed to that. It's going to be a loooooong rebuild after this year. And even though they aren't winning the WS this year, I'm not completely opposed to trading some forgettable prospects that we were going to screw up anyway just to make the balance of this season more compelling.

Things had deteriorated so much that a big reshuffle feels like a good choice as they absolutely have nothing to lose.

6 hours ago6 hr All I know is this the Phillies better get really hot in August. Cause if you look at their September, it is absolutely brutal. if you’re in a close race where it’s like 1-3 games entering September and you don’t play well in September then you could very easily miss the playoffs if you aren’t significantly ahead. 2 at Az4 vs atl3 vs Houston 3 at Atlanta 2 at wash4 at Mets3 vs Milwaukee 3 vs rays That’s 18 of 24 games against playoff teams. Last 6 against arguably the two of the 3 best teams in mlb who likely vying for top seed in the sport then.
