Really is. Unles Stott steals second it is pointless intentionally walking him. He is the most likely to hit into a double play.

The only thing I can think of of why the Jay’s manager did it, is he knew that Stott was gonna steal second. And that his catcher sucks at throwing guys out and their pitcher sucks at keeping guys on. so that was likely happening anyways. But still, you should still pitch to bohm because he’s liable to do something stupid and hit the Phillies out of the inning.

The manager of the Jays lost the game when he intentionally walked Bohm. Even Tom and Kruk had a tongue in cheek moment and were surprised they walked him. They really wanted to say if you need a double play Alec is the best chance to give it you you

So why don't they just bench Bohm, move Harper back to 1st, and let Hill play RF? You could argue that Hill's production at the plate will decline significantly as an every day player, but he can't be worse than Bohm is as an every day player, and our defense in RF will improve significantly with him out there.
