So I'm not seeing things then lol.

You aren’t. It’s the reason I said he’s not a cleanup hitter. He really shouldn’t be. You can say well his overall career says he hits wall runners and scoring position. His overall career they haven’t put them in the spot to be hitting cleanup where you need to drive runners in. He’s sitting into more double plays as he is a contact hitter and hurting the Phillies. He should really be batting either lead off or second.

Turner was dumb for getting himself into that situation but no way he was out on replay

A season’s worth of base running blunders. They’ve been really lucky the last two nights.

Yeah, I don't get how that replay wasn't clear enough to overturn the call, but the one when Harper stole home was clear enough to overturn the call. I felt like either they were both clear enough, or neither was clear enough. After the first wasn't overturned I couldn't see how they could say there was enough evidence to overturn the second.

Yeah because they are playing garbage teams, there is so much crap in this league I don't know how they could even think about expanding

Why did they put him out there today? He did get out of that jam only giving up the one run but a rest would have been a wise move.

Wheeler stinks

He has lost his pinpoint control. If he gets that back he will be fine.

If I get all my hair back, I will have a full head of hair

Gonna be a rough next 7 games if the offense is going to look like crap for all but one inning a night

We’re gonna find out a lot more about this team over the next 25 games. 19th of the next 25 against teams currently in the playoff field. And 13 straight against teams in the playoff field.

Looking at the schedule the notable games are the ones against other NL playoff contenders. The series against Arizona, the seven games against Atlanta, the final weekday games against the Brewers. Hopefully that final weekend means nothing.

Braves currently on a heater fwiw

Are the Astros a playoff team? Currently yes. But also they’re one game over 500

It’s good to see both Wheels and Sanchez have good starts this series. Hopefully it’s something to build off of. And it was a must happen to sweep the Angels even though it was ugly. You can’t lose to a team who is out of playoff contention when you’re the team trying to make a run in the postseason. Buckle up for September it’s going to make or break this Phillies team

In fairness the Astros were awful into the end of April. On May 19 they were 11 games under so since then they’ve been playing 12 games over .500.

Frankly we need to keep pace with the cubs and somehow pass them to get home field advantage for the that wild card round. Unfortunately we don’t have the tie breaker as we got destroyed by the cubs in April

Pretty sure I’ve been there for at least 15 of them lol

Did you decide if you are going yet?

Only game i could go to is Tuesday. Wednesday is midday and I’m working. Tonight id have leave somewhat early to get there and my day is busy. Off on Tuesday. Still deciding if i want to make the hour plus trip up and then back.

Ranger is continuing his trend of a hot first half start followed up by a mediocre second half. He has an ERA of 5.05 and WHIP of 1.46 post all-star break.
