Not til next year. Realmuto, schwarber, Alvarado  and Romano come off the books. That’s $59 mil off the books. Following year Castellanos comes off and it’s $20 mil and Walker at $18 mil. They have more flexibility next year to actually make a bigger move. This year they really don’t. Frankly trading Bohm helps if miller is ready in 2026 as he’s much cheaper than arbitration number he’ll get. 

Yeah don’t think that’s enough. not sure the Astros even want Castellanos and having 2 years at 40 mil to pay him. Plus your outfield is tucker, Rojas and marsh. And have a hole over at 3b too. I’m guessing it’s something like Ranger, Caba, Bohm and probably a prospect like Abel. That might not be better than other deals

Only problem is Rube jr is the one putting this together...... theres a reason hes not a gm anymore.

Kind of surprised miller would be included.
