No cause Ohtani can pitch and hit. He’s also a better hitter. Gap isn’t Grand Canyon cause I’d argue Soto is likely top 10 hitter and is just 26. That said Ohtani got $700 mil

I dont know why i thought ohtani got 500 mil. I suppose thats fair then.

Jalen Hurts hasn’t been throwing a lot – his 172 pass attempts during the Eagles’ eight-game winning streak are 35th-most among NFL quarterbacks. But he’s averaging 9.1 yards per pass attempt, which is 2nd-highest in the league during that span (behind Lamar Jackson’s 9.3). The only Eagles quarterback with a higher yards-per-attempt over an eight-game span is Nick Foles in 2013. Coming into the season, Foles held the franchise record for yards per pass attempt at 7.42 and Hurts was third at 7.33, also behind Michael Vick’s 7.41. But Hurts has raised his to 7.50, highest in Eagles history. Hurts is one of only 12 quarterbacks in NFL history to average 7 ½ yards per attempt and average an interception every 48 attempts or better.

Philadelphia’s Alec Bohm has been the most popular named linked to the Mariners in trade speculation early in the offseason.

In initial trade talks between the two clubs, the Phillies asked for one of the Mariners’ top pitchers — Logan Gilbert or George Kirby — in exchange for Bohm, a source with knowledge of the discussions said.

Dipoto has gone on the record saying his preference would be to keep all five pitchers from a starting rotation that ranked as the best in MLB this year.

Didn’t expect them to say much but running it back with just tweaks is going to end with a similar result in 2025

I hope I’m wrong but it feels very similar to what they did last off-season where they just ran it back and I thought it was a mistake. They need to shake this up. Frankly, they really need a four hole hitter. Because it allows you to move Castellanos down in the lineup and gives you protection for Bryce. If they don’t get it, you have to move Schwarber out of leadoff. They need somebody who is a power hitter in the middle of that lineup that can drive in more runs. Alec Bohm and Castellanos were never suited to be cleanup guys.

im still for us going after Kyle Tucker. I think he gives you that bat. He’s a stud. I have a feeling they are going to load up on pitching cause they think they have a better shot against the dodgers rather than out slugging them. Problem is dodgers hitting is so good that they can get 3-4 runs off good pitching and you showed against the Mets you can’t always do that when they have snell, glasnow, Yamamoto and Ohtani

They sre probably figuring on Stott bouncing back and then they will just grab some washed up/mediocre utility player like they always do .

I mean they did that last year. Freaking idiots.

Dodgers will probably sign him, and defer 745 million to the year 2125

About what i expected he’d get. 5-6 years at around 25-28

They are going to be a 3rd place team with close to 300 million payroll
