March 21, 20251 yr First, if you’re gonna give him an every day outfield position it should be one of the corners. defensively his play in CF isn’t as good as well as LF. Hes actually very good in LF. Secondly, you can’t do that because Kepler signed in free agency can really only play the corner outfield spot at this stage of his career. Ditto with Castellanos. I’d actually play marsh in the LF outfield spot against left-handed pitching and have Rojas play center. You’re not gonna play Kepler every single day anyways as he’s never played more than 130 games in 6 years and he’s likely better playing 90-100 games so he holds up at 32 and coming off an injury season. Frankly he should likely be a platoon or if marsh struggled against LHP again then use him instead with Rojas in CF

I would have more respect for him and the organization if they just realized that he sucks, and just DFA"d him. Nah, let's continue to run him out there and disrespect our fanbase. Not only that, but his trade deadline deals have also been unmitigated disasters. All he knows how to do is spend Middleton's money.
