March 6, 20251 yr First time at a spring training game. Unfortunately it's the Mutts 😆. I'll head to clearwooder to see the Phils on 3/15.
March 7, 20251 yr Honestly, if he doesn’t do it this year I think he just is what he is. A platoon corner outfielder. I really don’t wanna hear the same thing next year if he doesn’t do it. My biggest issue with Brandon marsh is that he’s got the same flaws since he got here. He can’t hit LHP consistently, he strikes out too much and he’s better in the corners than CF. he’s been somewhat better than what he was with the angels, but you traded one of your top 75 prospects (which most teams don’t do for players you have to fix) assuming that you could fix those issues and be the player everybody envisioned when he was a highly touted prospect

March 8, 20251 yr I know it’s spring training but really everyone not named Harper, Bohm, Kepler and realmuto in our starting lineup has looked awful.

March 10, 20251 yr Strahm with shoulder stiffness. Hopefully it's nothing serious but something to monitor. If he's out for an extended period of time, not sure who would fill in for high leverage spots.

They really don’t have the horses in the bullpen this year. An injury to one of the core four relievers (Strahm, Romano, Alvarado, Kerkering) could be disastrous as there is no high leverage depth behind them.
March 10, 20251 yr https://www.crossingbroad.com/2025/03/matt-strahm-dealing-with-shoulder-inflammation.html Good news i guess. Hopefully rest will be the cure all. If not, then DD needs to at least have an eye on another guy or two to bring in.
March 13, 20251 yr Considering they asked the owner to sell the team and now he’s not building the stadium, it feels like the MLB wants them to move to nashville
March 13, 20251 yr Rumblings about the Phillies moving Turner to a different position if his fielding doesn't improve

MLB does not want the team to move. The owner doesnt even want to be in Tampa anymore which is why they cant get a stadium deal done. His goal apparently is to go to Nashville. Ive been watching a podcast from a former MLB GM and he said MLB could basically make the Tampa owner's life a living hell such as taking away his revenue share. (The commissioner has this power) He explained that MLB has more power than owners like to admit. Part of being a franchisee is the ability of MLB to pull your team if it feels you aren't living up to your end of the bargain. I have a hunch they either get a stadium done in Tampa or he sells.
