I’m staying in Clearwater Beach while I am down there. So, unfortunately i can't help with restaurant recommendations because I just did a day trip. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you can't go wrong with whatever you pick at the stadium. If you watch the Phillies show on YouTube, those guys have recommendations out in town where you can go. If you do want to spend some extra money, go to McGillucuddys and spend $25 for a 24 oz beer bat. It's pretty cool I think. Here are the pics. The larger one is the one I bought and the one with the home plate, the guy sitting next to me bought. Nice couple who came down from King of Prussia for the weekend to catch a spring training game, which was their first. Have fun!!
March 16, 20251 yr Quote The Latest Phillies Injury Updates Matt Strahm (left shoulder impingement) Status: Could begin season on 15-day IL Matt Strahm has not pitched in a Grapefruit League game since March 5. He was dealing with inflammation in his left shoulder, but is now throwing pain free. Strahm threw from 75 feet on Saturday, March 15 and will throw again from 90 feet on Sunday. Rob Thomson told reporters, including Phillies Nation‘s Ty Daubert, that there is a "chance” he could be ready for Opening Day. Strahm thinks he’ll be ready for Opening Day, but he’s leaving it up to the team to make the final call. He gave a thorough explanation to reporters on Sunday regarding what went wrong with his shoulder. "It’s the positioning that my arm falls into when I get it back,” Strahm said. "So it’s basically the inflammation out of there allows the muscles to work how they’re supposed to. With inflammation, swelling shuts off muscles. And then with swelling, as I was coming back, it wasn’t stabilizing my shoulder, and then my shoulder was banging around. So, as long as we keep the inflammation out, the swelling out, it will be good.” As Todd Zolecki of MLB.com noted in his story, a potential injured list placement for Strahm can be backdated three days before the beginning of the regular season. He can return as early as April 8 against the Braves in Atlanta. — Last Updated on March 16 by Destiny Lugardo

Apparently players and other personnel will eat there a few times each Spring Training. Shephard's Beach Resort has a nice beach bar. I think most of those resort hotels have some nice bars.

March 19, 20251 yr Anyone have some bold predictions on the year. I got a couple 1. i think Sanchez makes the jump to being the best starter on the staff 2. Alvarado is the Phillies best BP arm 3. realmuto hits over .250 with RISP 4. Stott hits over .275 5. Rojas makes a nice jump as a hitter and becomes their everyday CF

If it is affecting his possible contract $$ I don't understand why he can't get off his lazy ass and workout at least one offseason and come in prepared. He's a lazy bum.
