Well. I won the season ticket holder lottery and decided there is no better time to check off a bucket list item.  All booked and ready to go!

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

There's massive PR risk with taking such a stance. The optics would be horrible if they held on to him throughout the entire legal process (which can be lengthy) and he's ultimately found guilty. Imagine if the victim comes forward and takes the stand during trial. It would be a nightmare. All that risk for a rookie backup RG who was an UDFA? Just doesn't make sense.

Oh, I think he’s going to get cut for this, so I agree.

Congrats!   How much are the tickets (face value)?

In case you haven't followed the upgrade/technical issue threads, we have a few 'skin' or 'theme' options for you to play around with.

There's a 'generic' theme, which is just plain and... well, generic. There's the usual theme that everyone's used to, then the new 'default' theme which is almost identical to the usual one, with maybe only one difference (the cityscape image used in the board banner area), and the new 'Dark Mode' theme.

That's for those that don't want a bright theme, the dark one may be easier on you eyes.

Check it out and if you see any issues of things not working right, or not displaying right, please post here and tag me so I can know about it.

To get to the themes, scroll to the very bottom of the board, there's a 'Theme' dropdown.

No reasoning needed. If there was, it wouldn't happen in the first place.

He's accused me several times of " Butting into conversations" on a Public message board but has no problem taking people to task for their remarks. Goes after the Poster, almost always...and some backhanded put down usually included. Who needs it?

By the way DUM, why do you always show up to protect that behavior? Must be a full time job...

I like your content immensely, thoughtful, facts, insight, research...Why the need to defend a guy that just takes shots?...

I have a theory that DUM and about 3 other posters are actually the same dude impersonating 4 posters and they all defend each other because they're one person in their moms basement.

I don't have any proof but hey if people believe the NFL is scripted then maybe this theory will catch on🤷‍♂️

It's the same here. We only have weird gray ones.

I like the grey ones and I'd buy one but I want a new green one first and that's my priority.

Well, it ties back into my original statement.  And I do not need to protect anyone, we are all big boys here ( well, at least I thought so )

The point, this is the blog, everyone posts in it, and hopefully everyone reads the posts before posting ( though I doubt that is the case from all the duplicate topics and tweets I see ).  No one is seeking out anyone, the content is right here in this thread.

And if you are like me, you do not have to go into the forums and sub forums, there is two very easy ways to use this board.  My general default view is topics I have posted in, so if I have posted once in a topic, and there is a new post in that topic, it moves to the top of the topics I have posted in.  The other view is unread content, so if it is new, I see it.

This myth that people seek each other out is just ridiculous.

Fair enough, to a point. I also generally stay in just a few sub forums, rarely post outside the Blog, though I read a lot.

My comments are based on an overview of the posting history, easily searchable as you well know.

Anyway, the weather was awful nice for a while, a couple weeks back...

Interacted with a Washington fan earlier this week who was jazzed about Bezos becoming the new owner, Payton the new coach and Brady the new QB. After years of anguish under Snyder, they said it was all coming together 😄

Narrator: It would soon be apparent that not only was it not coming together, it was continuing to unravel for the formerly storied franchise known colloquially in the NFC East as the Generals...

That's a tidy sum... but totally worth it for a once in a lifetime opportunity.   Enjoy!

While in the Glendale area... check out Caramba's... very good Mexican and great prices (You'll need some bargains.)  Their margaritas are pretty good too, for a great price.

In Tempe, I highly recommend Four Peaks Brewery... the Kilt Lifter is their signature beer (Scotch Ale).  Great stuff... and widely available out there on draft at most locales.

In Westgate Entertainment Center (right near the Stadium) State 48 and Yardhouse are both very good!

At this point, the only thing I can come up with for why they're dragging their feet, is to give the appearance of doing their due diligence to vet the allegations and weigh the circumstances. Maybe they don't want to box themselves into a corner by setting what might be perceived as a bad precedent by making too much of a knee jerk reaction. They could be trying to signal to current and future players that they will at least consider their side of the story should they find themselves in a similar situation? Who knows. But it's bizarre that they've been so tight-lipped about it.

The NFL may be different to soccer but in the UK you can't just cut a guy from his contract if he's accused of a crime. Now I know in the NFL you can cut any guy at any time so maybe it's different but in the UK you can't do that. Maybe that's what this is? He's innocent until proven guilty type thing. Doesn't mean the team are supporting him just means they are waiting a little to see what this is.

Aye. Caramba's is good.

Sorry, man. Had to.

Also possible that they new something but not to this degree and it has to go through process with legal, etc. to make sure that the decision doesn’t create legal liability for the franchise. If they were caught off guard, they’d need some time for due diligence

Nah, DUM has a serious research ability. He contributes FACTS. Your three others?   Well, maybe...:smoke:

If he was accused of this in 2019 the Eagles might have had what they believed was good info that he is innocent. Maybe their facts don’t line up with the indictment and are comfortable letting it play out. I really couldn’t say.

But I think he’ll be a former Eagles by media day.

Brandon Graham was on a radio show and said he still wants to play for another year or two, and would if it's not on the Eagles.

Regarding Graham and Kelce, I just heard Tom Tolbert kick out an interesting comment regarding the Brady retirement announcement. Specifically, he pointed out that all the other HOF inductees who share the induction year with Brady have to know that they will stand in Brady’s huge shadow.  Tolbert suggested that any players that are likely to be first ballot inductees like Kelce will choose not to retire this year in order to avoid that Brady shadow.

Its an interesting idea.

I saw the same, but forget where, but basically it was Aaron Rodgers won't retire because he would be overshadowed. I think it makes more sense in Rodgers case, I'm not sure Kelce is the type to care. Also I'm not even sure he's a first ballot guy anyway.

Graham has always said he wanted to have a 15 year career for a few years now.

Not sure how the Eagles can make it work.  Trying to find info on these guarantees.

The parties can mutually agree to end the contract and then negotiate a new one.

Second time I have seen this crap this week, lets be done with it.

@Moderator6 would you please confirm with IP that myself, and I assume he means @Texas Eagle @TorontoEagle @4for4EaglesNest and in another thread @UndyTaker are not clone accounts of mine.

Brady still only gets his 15 minutes at the podium though, no?

I agree with your premise on it's surface. It will be a Media slobberfest of Brady's career, but by the Media, offstage.

The Hall will work to ensure all Inductees receive their just accolades.

Understood and agreed.  It certainly isn’t a slam dunk, but it is part of the whole picture.

Agreed, but the line of demarcation is not very clear once the podium time is either in the future or in the past.

I'm taking Kelce.

As hopeful I am for Jurgens he's an unknown, whose to say he amounts to anything?

Cox is way past his prime and unless he comes back on an extremely team friendly deal he won't be worth it

As for Graham, love the dude, love the energy he brings on and off the field and at his age one can't expect the same production he gave this year so again unless he's willing to come back in the cheap I'm taking Kelce.

Kelce is still the best at his position in the league and he doesn't look to be slowing down, Centers also  historically have more longevity in the league than DL.

When the eagles win the super bowl Kelce though could call it quits and go out on top, he's been hinting at retirement for a while now.

BG will be back on a team friendly deal is my guess.  Cox has been much better since they signed Joseph and Suh.  It may be that he comes in and signs after training camp.  I could also see him retirng.  I don't see him or BG playing anywhere else unless there's just no interest from the Eagles.  I believe Kelce is likely to retire if they win it.  He has gotten into the podcast I could easily see him moving away from the game.
