Would’ve been better to have practice for likw 15-20. Then however long halftime for the Super Bowl is a break and then pick it back up to simulate the SB halftime.

Yeah but practice is shorter.  So can't be blowing off a full 30 minutes.  Begs the question is much accomplished by it.  But from the perspective of "hey remember we are going to sit on our asses and then have to turn it back on again" it makes your point.  Like sitting silent for a minute to show you how long a minute is...kinda sorta...

If both teams win the Super Bowl then this team did more because they won more games. They placed themselves in the record books with a historically great pass rush.  You can say the 2017 overachieved but I would disagree with that because that 2017 was the best team in the league that year in my opinion.  But saying they did more with less I wouldn't agree with that.  They would have achieved the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl with a team that wasn't as great as this team but that doesn't make them a better team.  I think this team is truly one of the all time great teams.  The only weakness this roster has is on special teams.

Practice can be as long as they want to run practice.  Eagles run the shortest training camp practices by choice.  

 

I agree that they should have actually simulated the extended Super Bowl half time and this 7 minute break doesn't accomplish that.

*I assume the bonus money can't be used on props but that is OK.
