Watching it again and again, it was tough to see but the EZ ref threw the flag as they crossed the goal line.

Yeah, once he saw the ball was uncatchable

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Hazelton is take-locked into thinning Sanders is better than Gainwell, so he'll use every opportunity to downplay Gainwell and compliment Sanders

Of course, any rational human being can now see that Gainwell is clearly better

All you need to do with Sanders to judge how the team views him is look at his usage. Out-snapped by Gainwell last night in the biggest game of the year and they have never consistently trusted him to be the main guy in his four years here. Good luck to him in free agency and more power to him if he gets paid by someone, but it won’t be here. He put up an absolute dud last night and continues to prove that he’s a liability. That felt like his swan song last night.

No, they should be calling him names.  Cash grab.  Dude wouldn’t have earned 43m in this league if he had bionic knees for 100 years.  Laughable.

Clearly it wasnt a cash grab.  And its not just about missed salary, Im sure hes had constant rehab and surgeries, who the hell knows how his knee will work in 10, 15 years....  Im sure youd feel the same if some doctor screwed around and essentially debilitated you and kept you from earning a living in your profession

Yea, good for him for being a parasite on our healthcare system and extracting more money from the best orthopedic surgeon on the planet than he’d have bad in his entire career 3 times over.

Parasite?

Lets recap here: he goes to doctor for care, doctor Fs up, and somehow hes a parasite??

Youre not looking at this the right way

They screwed around?  It’s the foremost sports orthopedic surgeon on the planet and a separate elite orthopedics program.  If they "ignored” a meniscus injury, that’s not screwing around and committing someone to constant rehab and surgeries.  He sucked at football unless he threw his body around on ST.  That kept him from learning a living in an unnatural profession, not every single medical professional he’s ever worked with.

You have no idea that the doctor F’ed up. 43m over a meniscus that wasn’t repaired?  Dude’s a parasite and couldn’t accept that his body broke down and his career followed.

Shame this window is about to be slammed shut woth loss of coordinators and the inevitable mega contract Hurts will get. We know Philly can't draft for ****. Best team all year in practically every statistical category and couldn't seal the deal.

The Jets are interested in Rodgers. Rodgers camp is dark so far on their interest...

Turned the TV off the minute the game ended.  Didn't see any of the post game stuff.  Apparently, Terry Bradshaw is getting torn apart for "fat shaming" AR.  He called him Big Guy, told him to waddle over here and then told him to have a cheeseburger on us.  Gooodness.

Bradshaw needs to ride off into the sunset.

Eye opening stat.

Chiefs- 23 carries for 156 yards 6.8 ypc

Eagles- 17 carries for 45 yards 2.7 ypc

I never would have guessed that would be the stats for the running backs going in to this game.

Two different approaches to defense. And both defenses got torched. Gannon was just the worse of the two.

It’s a massive assumption that a mistake that was made in the first place.  The fact that a world class Eagles training staff, partnered with a top 10 national orthopedic program, partnered with the worlds foremost sports orthopedic surgeon were all independently involved…Im going to assume they had a reason to not repair the meniscus, as they already articulated in their arguments.

And…it’s a meniscus that wasn’t repaired.  43m is an order of magnitude more than what is awarded in wrongful DEATH lawsuits.

Yes, it was a shameful cash grab by a parasite who was a lousy safety.

The Chiefs were a lucky, flukey unforced fumble away from being absolutely embarrassed on defense.

I mostly put more blame on the defense overall, but that fumble really swung things pretty hard in the wrong direction for the Birds. Offense was in complete control up until that point, and while there was no guarantee they would have scored a TD, they would have at least had a FG there.

The play 3rd and 6 from Eagles 49, not sure how you can project any likely score at that point. What if he throws an incompletion ?

Honestly both defenses were garbage. Chiefs had the fumble that was more of a gift to them by jalen. That said spags was also dealing with a good amount of rookies so i think you’ll see improvement next year. Jordan Davis was  the only rookie that played on defense for the eagles in that game

Tbh if he didn’t fumble that play was doomed. Their linebacker played it perfectly. At that point jalen just has to accept it’s a doomed play and fight to live another day so needs to take care of the ball at all cost. unfortunately it was his one bad play in the game and it was costly.

The Chiefs' defense at least made us work a bit. How many third downs did we have? We couldn't even get the Chiefs into third down.

It looked like the 2nd half of SB 52 to me, only Graham was never able to make that play.

Hopefully I live long enough to witness an Eagles defense in the Super Bowl that doesn't play like dog crap.

My mindset going into the combine: if Howie can somehow, someway get Jalen Carter, then make that deal with the devil. Trade both 1’s, sell your kidney, whatever it takes. Couple teams trade into the top 5 for QBs and suddenly he may be available at 5 or 6. We may be able to swing that for 10th overall and NO’s 2024 2nd. I think the drop off in talent for this draft is severe. Not only after Jalen and Will, but a Lot of people saying they’re struggling to find 18 guys with first round grades.

If that’s not possible, then just do whatever. Trade both picks, combined them for some megadeal, whatever. Though I do like Brian Branch and it’d be sweet if he and CJGJ were our 2023 safeties.

Jalen or wing it

18 3rd downs and 2 4th. Chiefs sold out to stop the run and force the eagles to throw the ball to beat them. Hurts nearly accomplished doing that. If the eagles managed to get the running game going it very well may been even worse for the chiefs defense.

I dont care who it is or where they work, they can make mistakes all the same.  Ignoring a meniscus could lead to him not being able to walk at all. I have no idea where this take is coming from but its dumb

Eagles offense had to work a lot harder for it. Mahomes had wide open receivers all day long. Hurts was making amazing throws to guys who were covered. Eagles were 2nd and long all day long, while the Chiefs were gashing us for 4 or 5 yards on first down constantly.

Minus the baffling fumble, Hurts was amazing. He put this offense on his back with zero help from the running game. Mahomes had it easy. The running game was working for KC. Receivers were wide open. The KC defense clearly made the Eagles work harder than the Eagles D made the KC offense work for it.

A name I would love to see explored for DC, if Gannnon leaves would be Jarod Mayo.
