Oh cool, Miles joining the party

Brown also picked up a knee injury. Curious if it happened after he awkwardly went down on the third play of the game.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

And I have no Titans players, but do 2 x Cowboys unfortunately.  🤮

Not SB or bust…but if they wash out quietly in the wild card round.  I wouldn’t actively clean house.  I just wouldn’t give guaranteed money to players over 30 or running backs.  Which, fine…that might be a bit of house cleaning.

They have 22 or 24 FA this year. Things will clean themselves out regardless.

Thought Brown went down again later in the game.

UK ? I don’t live in the UK I live in Ireland which is a separate country. But yes the point remains that it’s an art form.

It does make me feel kinda dirty, but an acceptable kinda dirty.

Do you not realize how negative your perspective consistently is? Why is it that you presume they'll automatically lose a game if he only plays a half? Isn't it entirely possible that the offense hums and that they have a multiple score lead and just cruise the rest of the way?

Everything is always glass-half-empty with you. Or at least it seems that way.

Colin Cowherd did a segment about this.  The NFL is 3 seasons, before thanksgiving, after thanksgiving and the playoffs.

We are the before thanksgiving champions, and are 5-2 in our last seven.  While that does not sound awful, teams are getting hot for the playoffs.  49ers have won 8 straight, Bengals have won 7 straight, Bills have won 6 straight.  Chiefs are 8-1 in their last 9, with the only loss being at Cincinnatti.

Thanks for that quick research. Seriously, appreciate the effort, however...

So. we're positioned perfectly to beat the norm, the History and the Talking Heads.

Colin and Skippy in a head to head battle for the biggest D Head to tell us how it will play out...lol. TV Ratings.

I'll put my money on the Local Guys in Midnight Green, focused, zeroed in, waiting to eviscerate New Orleans...

No Rah Rah crap, just reading the landscape. Top Guys play and beat NO.

Resting begins after #1 Seed wrapped. Giants say Thank you so much.....

Thanks Saints

Smoke? Mirrors?

Sirianni is getting better at this stuff...

Beat the crap outa everybody, #1 Across the Board, Own the League, Polish the Lombardi...

What's the issue?

No issue, only the reality that the last step is highly affected by luck.  A team can do everything right and still not end up with the Lombardi.

I take full personal credit for my perspective on Philly sports.  I got my Eagles fandom from my Dad, who mostly grew up in Philly but spent some formative years in Pittsburgh as a big Pirates fan.

Pain from that collapse never reached me.

You can't really smoke and mirror an injury report significantly unless you want to lose draft picks.

But if Carolina wins, and the Saints somehow beat us, it opens the door for the Saints to actually win the division. So my feeling is, we root for the Panthers until our win over New Orleans is assured. If our game is in jeopardy or we somehow lose, we want the Bucs to have won.

If our game is in jeopardy or losing we want the giants to win so week 18 they don’t really play anyone as they are secured in their 6 seed and not playing anyone in week 18

Yep, teams have been penalized for this.  Eagles are not lying on the injury report.

Oh, Matt...

Luck favors the Bold, and the Prepared...I believe we are both this year...

St Nick showed us anything can happen...

I think we're better positioned now than we were in 2017...so....

Guys like @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! are better at this Roster Age thing than I am , but Super Bowl or clean house? We're young. No Panic.

I thought we had a fairly youthful roster, may be time to move a couple guys regardless, after the season, but mostly we seem to have a pretty new and solid core. Keep drafting, some FAs, stay the course.

It's not a window we're fighting, just a slight transition, depending on where we stand in the third week of February.

Team looks pretty solid otherwise...Hell, we are leading the League after 15 weeks. Must be doing something right.

Agree?

Offense i think we are gonna be fine and set up well long term. Need to find RB, long term replacement for Lane and probably with seumalo leaving his replacement which i think stoutland finds someone he likes middle rounds who’s a tackle that plays guard too  use him at guard until lane retires

defense is more concerning after this year. Cox, suh, Graham, Epps, hargrave, Joseph, Edwards, white, CJGJ, Bradbury are all free agents. Slay is going to be 32 next year so he’s getting older. Really i think in place for long starters you have sweat, reddick, Davis, Dean, Williams and maddox as guys who are young and here long term. Blankenship might be but not sure if he’s a long term starter. He’s where Epps was last year. I’m guessing some of those guys re-sign. My guess hargrave is back. I think edwards or white is back. I tend to agree with sheil and solak that CJGJ they want to bring back but he tests FA and could price himself out.

on the defense, I’d argue this year might be the best collection of guys where there’s a blend of vets and young players. Might just be really young next year and build it up for the next two years so not as great defensively as they learn and adjust to the league.

Baker Mayfield may lead the Rams to two wins.

Thanks e-e.

I read that 3 times and it looks like about a 50% Roster turnover. Mostly on D, No?

That's a ton for a Playoff team, not to mention a League-leading one.

Reading tea leaves, New Rb, draft the D line guys, get an O Lineman or two Stout likes,

...a Slot DB and some Linebacker help, Pass Rusher or two wouldn't suck...

Did I miss anything? LOL. Always the same tho. more holes than replacements.

The Roster is aging, Graham and Cox probably gone, etc... still a strong core, No?
