Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Philly had an 11.2 sack % from their D. (1st)

SF had 6.9% (14th)

The Eagles had 26 more sacks.

Nick Bosa is a great player but they do not have a great pass rush.

If you could help out @mattwill, who is this Philly legend, I am not sure.

But it wasn't really cherry picking only the good games, they used the most recent game which also had by far the most at stake for him and the team. Pretty standard stuff for weekly review shows.

Yeah but Siri wagging his finger at us is BS. He knows Gannon has been F- bad in about 12 games in 2 years.

I don't care about someone saying he did a good job last week. Just don't try to sell Philly fans being rude for knowing the truth about Gannon.

If I was SF I'd definitely flip flop their DEs - the other guy is a big bull rush guy, which I don't think is much of a problem for Mailata.

Bull rush is not a problem for Lane or Mailata, but speed is an issue for Mailata.  It would make sense to put Bosa against Mailata, but the Eagles should expect that and have a plan to help him.

Gannon produced a number 6 by DVOA defense this year.

He had the best unit against passing offenses, including a ridiculous 70 sacks.

Yes, he can be frustrating at times, but for the most part his second half adjustments were fantastic.

It's not BS. We're the 2nd ranked defense in yds allowed, 8th in pts allowed, 6th in DVOA. Yes, he's had a couple bad games this year, and quite a few last year, but the fact remains that the defense is a big factor for why we've been so successful as a team this year. Could someone like Fangio step in and improve upon this year's results? Maybe, maybe not. But I feel like Gannon's earned the benefit of the doubt and am curious to see if he can rise to his biggest challenge yet on Sunday.

If I recall from here, no other player has more than 4.5 sacks.  Nothing to sneeze at but not in the same class as our guys with dub digits.

So if they scheme to handle Bosa, occupy Bosa, chip Bosa, freeze Bosa or run right at Bosa, seems like there should be offensive gold (gold, Jerry gold!) in there.

These are the words that preceded the EMB going off the rails into dark web territory

It is noteworthy.  Me losing a bet.  I currently have an avatar of Kermit beating off to two other frogs f-ing.   So my standards are already pretty high.

Thoughts are that you had help with that.

Did you hear back from your pal?

Nope, that wasn't Mike's suggestion.  His is great but will mean more coming from him one day...

It's now National talk

Another one on AJ Brown

These asshats take highlights from the good games and ignore Gannon falling apart with soft zones in his 4 or 5 bad games. Everyone looks good when you ignore the bad stuff.

These analysis shows suffer from built in Recency Bias. They don’t believe their audience wants to hear old news, just what has been done lately … this weekend.  So they use almost 100% clips that happened within the last 10 days.  It is the nature of the TV Ratings beast.

You don’t have a Recency Bias.  Your memory can see into the past and pull examples that support your argument. The bias you have is Confirmation Bias.

Oh god who cares

I see a similar plan for him like they had for Parsons. Force Bosa to make a decision. If executed correctly, he will always be wrong.

Keyshawn is 100% correct in that clip.

I mentioned that earlier this week... I feel good about Bosa vs. Johnson and Armstead vs. Mailata.   I am much more concerned about Bosa vs. Mailata and Armstead vs. Johnson.

I do.  I'm changing my bonus prediction.

AJ Brown -- 21 catches for 285 yards

Hurts -- 21/29 for 285 yards and 8 INT forcing balls into triple coverage.

AJ Brown happy.  Everyone else sad.

Hey, with my last post, I just achieved rookie status for the EMB. ..not bad for 21 years of posting

At this rate, I’ll hit veteran status by the time I reach 75 😂
