So far I’ve heard Pattinson is the best Batman and worst Bruce Wayne. Accurate?

Yea I’d say so. Didn’t like him as Bruce, but the story made sense for him to be the Bruce he was. Not the playboy type like we’re used to but more like a brooding teenager

These are some non-spoiler questions:

-Is Serkis over the top like he is in almost everything or is he a typical reserved Alfred?

-I hear Farrell is amazing as Penguin. Confirm?

-How are the group fight scenes?

I don't really think he was meant to be the typical Bruce Wayne. This is a young version of Batman. When you see it you will understand.

I enjoyed it a lot.

@NOTW you basically got your wishes with this one.

Yea everything @NOTW has been saying he’s wanted for a Batman movie, I think they hit all those points in this one

Do you get what I mean with my explanation of Bruce? I think once they see it they will get why he isn't the middle aged Bruce and why this one may throw people off

I definitely get it. I think that story it made sense for him to be that kind of Bruce, and he played it well. So maybe my issue is less of Pattinson/this movies Bruce and more of just not used to that kind of Bruce Wayne

Spoiler

We have never seen a young Bruce, so he is still angry about his parents and  doesn't see how his legacy as a Wayne can help the city. That's what I took from it anyway. Lots of t Burton vibes  especially the score

You guys are getting me excited…possibly aroused.

There’s a good additional non-spoiler question. Where does Zoe fall on the sexy Catwoman scale from 1-10?

With her genetics I’m not surprised.

Yeah it’s definitely good. One thing about it is that it’s damn near entirely from Batman’s perspective. Think of this movie as B89, Batman: Year One, Se7en, Taxi Driver, Chinatown, and Rear Window rolled into one.

Just saw it. Your description is accurate.

Big Se7en vibes.

I like that the Batman was terrifying to his enemies. I liked it.

How do they fit this in with the tone of Aquaman and Flash going forward.

Don't bother to stay for post-credit scene.

Yes, it made sense what they did with his character being in year 2 and where he's at by the end of the movie.

This should have come out in the mid 90s though.

In the Flash they’re setting up the DC version of a multiverse. So it’s a completely different world, so no worries with fitting it in.

I was waiting and then I looked it up quick and noped right out of there lol.

If you read my spoiler you would see where I said it gave me Burton vibes.

I rank this batmobile 2nd behind the Keaton Batmobile.I hated the tumbler , especially with that whole seat moving nonsense just to fire one bomb lol.

Friend of mine texted me to tell me that this was visually one of the "greatest movies he’s ever seen” and that this should be nominated for Best Cinematography ala Fury Road. Accurate or is he delirious from the three hour run time?
