Make it about class again and preach moderate economic policies that include helping all little guys/gals. dems are historically stupid & will probably think the solution is to go further left.

He only has 4 years so he ultimately can’t get much done. Hopefully he deescalates at least 1 of the two major conflicts, basic bish GOP tax policies, and improves border security/immigration. I’m not expecting miracles, just marginal improvement.

If I get all these programs taken away from me, I am seriously screwed. I know people will laugh at this, but this is really worrying me. Something is going to have to change. I read someplace - don't remember where - that if benefits were reduced to 85% of current levels there would be no problem. The other thing that gripes me is if Social Security were mostly a retirement fund instead of of what it is today, there wouldn't be a problem. How many able bodied people under the age of 65 are getting Social Security and Medicaid benefits? I don't know the percentage and I'm sure 'the swamp' don't want to talk about it.

November 6, 20241 yr Moss got them all right in the polls I believe - I think it might be time to admit that he's a genius

I have noticed people only mentioned finished goods from countries like China, but the US also sources raw materials like minerals that cannot be sourced domestically. It is, should've laid the sarcasm on thicker.

Look, Social Security shouldn't even be a real thing. The government shouldn't be in the retirement business for anyone other than people who have serious issues or are incapable of earning enough to save for retirement. The entire program should be unwound and people should get the money back that they put into it. The problem I have with Trump is I don't trust him or Republicans to get greedy and not try to privatize it.

Run on issues the majority of Americans care about. The simple fact is you can't be the party of black and gay people in a white, Christian country and expect to have sustained success. Obama, while black, was an issues candidate. Or at least spoke like one. I did read what you posted and that's why I responded that identity politics is all they have because their policies directly hurt whites/Christians (and really all middle-class earners). So they have to rile up minorities through identity politics because they need the turnout considering minorities and clueless whites are all they have left as potential voters.

McConnell can't walk in a straight line. You're still butthurt about the Supreme Court opening in 2016 - except that in prior years when there was such an opening in similar circumstances, the party controlling the Senate would never put up a nominee of a lame duck president of the opposite party. Honestly, it's just such attitudes on the part of you people that created the massive Republican win last night. Own up to your own shortcomings for a change. The American people put the likes of you and your cohorts on notice whether you like it or not.
