So he may be the right pick if he's the right player who turns out, regardless of position.But the position is still a bummer. They went into this draft with 2 true assets, Maxey and Mccain. They now have 3 assets. All are guards. It's the back court version of Noel, Embiid, and Okafor. Ace may be a total bust, but he was a convenient fit with a young 1/2/3 setup for the future.
