This team is a joke....what was so hopeful a couple of years ago has become a complete disaster. They are unwatchable, Embiid while an incredible talent, will never again be healthy and even when healthy, has that great attitude when things are going great....and crap attitude when things are going...well...crappy. So many mistakes made with this roster over the past 7 or 8 years. So many idiots put in charge that shouldn't have been. And now.....we are in purgatory.

Why? These dude play and workout all summer. Luka, Giannis, Jokic are all playing next week

Only guy that needed protection was Embiid and that is because he was injured.

Born in Nigeria, he moved to Turkey at age 13 to pursue basketball.

Plays for Nigeria and Turkey national teams.

Not sure who he plays for when they play each other.

Who honestly cares? This thread should be like closed for 10 years and then reopened when maybe this team will be competitive again. Embiid won't play in back to backs...the Sixers have 17 of them so right there, assuming best case scenario, Embiid is eligible for 65 games. Now take those 65 and he might play in 32. In those 32 he will be mopey for 31. God I wish they would have traded him right after the MVP season or even f'ing before that. Now we have an oft-injured big man that can't stay on the floor with a massive extension. F'ing Morey.

And while the Sixers and Phillies have both come up short and both fan bases are in a "let's see what they do in the playoffs"......at least the Phillies have remained highly competitive during the regular season. The Sixers went from "championship contender" to "can they get the top pick in the draft" in like minutes. And what's even worse, they did it WHILE TRYING TO ACTUALLY WIN AND NOT TANK! That should tell you right there how bad Morey has been.

Everyone here is well aware of the misfortune of this team and the future outlook.

Some fans will enjoy watching the young, athletic backcourt. Embiid and PG have us pretty cash strapped, but all its going to take is finding one athletic 5 man to complement the young guards and we can be cooking with fire.

In the meantime, Ill enjoy the scoring displays of Maxey/McCain.

There is no telling how long, or maybe how quickly things can turn around. Do we get a medical retirement from Embiid? That will speed the process.
