Being an OC under an unqualified HC that tries to actually run the O isn’t a position that would draw the top quality. Steichen used it to get his own team….because everybody saw how he did fantastic while overcoming Siri. Took what Siri had at 2-5 and went on a tear to make the playoffs. Then SB the next season.

Why wouldn't Moore or anyone else look at it the same way?

Again....how the rest of the world sees it... Siri let Steichen do his thing, there wasn't the same confidence in Brian Johnson, so he got more involved. As you pointed out all year last year how it wasn't good, too predictable.

So with Moore, Siri let's him do his thing. But again, it never was Siri was completely out of the equation, he was always involved. Just last year it was babysitting Johnson and having to do too much.

Pick a game then. That’s what I said. Pick a game and let’s all review it. Then chose Giants game being real easy with the small number of passing attempts. Just posted a link of a breakdown of this last game. He showed some pass blocking issues.

Pick a game and I'll show you the best hitters in MLB looking bad.  Pick a Michael Jordan game where he struggled scoring.

Again...it's about the season.  For the season...not one blowout win... the experts whose job it is to spend time watching all 160 OL ...32 combos of 5... each week, every snap.    They all say the Eagles have a top run and pass blocking OL.

Excuse me if i feel that is more important than just the Giants blowout and your ANALysis.

The Eagles QB had 3.47 seconds to throw this past week... nobody else had 3 seconds.  AJ was wide open ... the QB needs to make the easy throws.

Wasn't there some studs on Cleveland and Cincy DLs....how did they do vs Fred Johnson?

Why do we need to review it? The past is done. Whatever needed fixed has already been talked about by the TEAM since week 7.Seems they got it fixed since then? They don't give a CRAP about our reviews LOL

It looked like things were all fixed to you? I think they’re just getting to work on it.

Must be nice when 4 billion is the chump change between your sofa cushions LOL

I heard he had the 4 billion fall out of his pocket in the rocket and blasted it off into space. Heck when it returns that mofo will make a handsome profit off that even. Even when he falls…he falls up.

Playing nobody, LOL. Even this year isn't that tough a schedule. It's like Penn State playing the state HS's the last 2 years then having to play a few college triple A's this year. One more fairly hard game left and we didn't have many this year. Need to put the BS behind us and PLAY BALL. We need to get tough for the playoffs

It’s the NFL. Did you not just see the bottom team Panthers just go toe to toe with us and the Chiefs? Not much for easy wins in this league of parity, I really don’t like fans diminishing our accomplishments so much. You’ve forgotten just have tough this league is. Just like you are taking putting the ball in the Endzone for granted. You want to get all cute with it and pick and choose who scores and how. Having a Go-To high conversion short yardage play is absolutely a relief and great weapon/benefit.

Another tough game this Sunday Steelers are a very good team…. Hopefully we start to figure some things out in the passing game this week it’s really the final piece for us

That’s what the discussion table had concluded was the way to attack Detroit.

I don't understand Hurts hesitation to throw. It's concerning to me,but as you said I hope they figure this out. IDK the time frame for getting Goedert back. he could be helpful also

Sure you do…you’ve done nothing but harp on insisting he doesn’t turn the ball over. Instead of strive to be great….striving not to mess up is more Siri’s way.

Siri was forced out of the way to let Steichen bail him out. Johnson wasn’t ever the guy running crap under Siri. HC ran the O last season. This season felt like Siri was letting Moore possibly do his work in TC. But then Siri began inserting himself dialing the O backwards almost begging game two. I don’t think Siri backed off ever either…on his own. Been waiting for Rosie to do what he does and interference to get Siri out of Moore’s way. That’s what it felt like just happened. Those slow on the uptick are starting to realize what I’ve been preaching all along: it’s all about how far we can develop in Moore’s O by seasons end.

But there is the version where Moore will stay with us in the future. If he feels like he has the respect and power to be the predominate coach of the O. Siri backs off….empowers Moore ..ughh more…that makes it considered a much better job

Sad….year two in Moore’s O this team could be just so much more dangerous and versatile. Hard to be but so optimistic right now about how far this O has gotten.

The more pressure put upon Hurts, the better he performs. Look at his 35-yard at the end of the third quarter last week against the Carolina. The play came on third-and-10 and the Eagles were on the edge of field goal range at the Panthers’ 44. That was the first of two critical plays in crucial spots made by Hurts.

The next came on a third-and-goal throw to Grant Calcaterra. It was a slow-developing play and Hurts hung in until the end when Calcaterra worked his way free in the end zone for a touchdown that gave the Eagles the lead back at 22-16. Had the play not worked, head coach Nick Sirianni would have had a decision to make – send in Jake Elliott for a chip-shot field goal to take a 17-16 lead or go for it on fourth down.

That third and goal? I loved he hung on to the ball that bit longer.

Yeah Hurts needs to make the throws. One of the plays AJ was open…their LB blocked the passing lane for Hurts to throw through. Or doesn’t that ever factor into your ‘review’/Hurts Hating criticism and blame? Yeah he held the call longer to hit Calc for his first TD. It took that time.

This is all going down like I’ve been explaining it needed to. Should have been many weeks ago us hitting this hump. Siri stunted the Os growth with going backwards on his short thinking one step approach. Better late than never here. Everybody but Siri is realizing it’ll take more than his one step approach to improve this team to where they want to go. So AJ…and whoever else making this clear is what had to happen. Our team has learned you don’t sit back with Siri and expect him to fix anything on his own. You get real deliberate and organized and force him to understand. Players…trying to steer our HC. Our team has been so backwards with this hierarchy under Siri.

Which game are you grading every single Oline players at or above that 88 percent  pass blocking win rate? Not sure you can hardly find A game where our whole Oline pass blocked at 88 percent win rate. Mailata has done very well when available. Lane is having a fantastic season. Those two games might just be our best overall pass blocking games.

No Mas you don’t like the pressers. But they were big this week on our team. AJ and Hurts(among others) all were saying it was about synchronization. Everybody getting on the same page. Does this struggle sound familiar from any of all the posts I’ve been explaining about learning a completely different scheme? Oline, RBs, WRs and QB….they all had misques. Spread out through the game. Our O needs to tighten up these details. Every player on O needs to be on the same page.

He can't find wide open receivers, that is a PROBLEM for an NFL QB. A BIG problem

Really just that simple.

The link(I posted pages back) breaking down the game did explain a few of these situations. Twice Panthers defenders got in the throwing lane. A few times Oline blew it. But you have Smitty and AJ adapting and adjusting on their reads based on the D playcall. So Hurts needs to expect the exact same adjustments.

Get on the same page with some of Moore’s plays. But frankly the passing game is pretty flat out just rusty too.

That he looked gunshy a few plays is absolutely a major issue. That’s like you’re no longer the Franchise QB level issue.

It's not moving forward because the QB is mediocre/middle of the pack. He can't get the ball out despite having one of the highest/longest times to throw. He can't locate READ ONE in 3.5 seconds(and why AJ is PISSED). That ball should be out in under 3. Hesitation, indecision, this is the QB we are stuck with. When he was "unleashed" he led the league in picks. In order to stop the bleeding they cut his pass attempts down. You know this yet are still in denial(and always will be)
