I kept saying it did get there and was improved. Which you are purposely skipping over because it blows your agenda out of the water. It was an obvious issue…for very obvious reasons…they kept improving on until the end. Which is really all I was asking for. But it was clearly needed …is what you were missing.

I'm not skipping over anything.  Stating the facts...you were missing all the improvements because your focus was all on your boy.

You are barely an Eagles fan anymore... just Hurts.

It's really pathetic

That was you focused on Hurts. I was focused on the team. Where the main difference lies all along,

There was so much to improve, grow and develop this season…was the point I was making the whole time.

Then you absolutely do not know how to express yourself...because you were not acknowledging the improvements as they were happening.

You have issues.   Let them go regarding the GM and the coach.

Get over anything prior and focus on the current team.  Let go of the anger.  It will help you see things clearly.

If you were focused on the team, then you wouldn't have made all those stupid posts about how they weren't improving.

I didn’t care about Hurts putting up stats or any of that. Which he did put up some fantastic stats this season really. Before game one I stated I believed our team could only go as far as we progressed learning and perfecting our new schemes. I was the one perfectly fine with suffering some bumps along the way as long as we got where we needed at the end. Which I admit had me concerned. We got there. Worked out well.

That’s all you. Hurts Hating agenda and such. I have an expensive history here of always calling them like I see them. It’s not always rainbows…not always gloom. But I speak my opinions as each move and each moment arrives.

GM issues he mostly changed to fix what I was complaining about. Paid the RB. Brought in the respected coach that made him relinquish some power in Fangio. Got a LB. Didn’t ignore DBs. Sure I was vocal about not liking the Huff big FA addition. But mostly I was on board with Rosie’s moves. Not even sure how you really say otherwise?

The only stat that matters from Hurts... the turnovers.   That's what he was improving on all season.

He was 37th out of 37 QBs in passer rating when he was pressured.  The team...along with himself ...was improving in avoiding putting him in those situations.

As far as the HC…yeah I’m not as enamored with him as you. He desperately needed to improve. I gave him credit that he did. Not sure how much more you’re looking for from me here? It isn’t coming if you think I jumped all the way to he’s an O minded playcalling genius we have the best in the league with now. He has his strengths…improved and matured in areas of weakness…Moore helped grow his playbook…after Steichen did. I give him credit on his so razors edge close to multiple moments to be fired galvanized the team. He fought through it…the team fought through.

Those stats are fairly misleading in many ways. I don’t really care much anyway. But those are a reflection of exactly what you preached and wanted…don’t turn it over. When pressured is highest likely situation to turn it over. So he didn’t. That’s what I completely believed was very heavily emphasized for him to do.

How did Siri grow?  Explain?

And Explain how you couldn't acknowledge any of this until the end?

Obviously there was the behind the closed doors meeting with the Oline wanting to run the ball more…which I couldn’t have realized then. I wanted the highest possible accelerated learning curve possible in one season with Moore. I stated over and ofer again before and during the season, so yeah…it was concerning me it wasn’t going to be enough. Really cut things close is how I still see things. No way to know everything…but something behind closed doors happened…that Steelers game things changed that week. Moore was taking over much more control. Scripted game plan and playcalling running the O …that moment pressers…everything pointed to a large opening up. Which seeing how Hurts suffered the concussion when he did…was about at the last possible seasons moment….to get the results we’ve celebrated.

Again... when pressured he struggles... the key is to avoid the pressure.  That's the team's job.  What they were improving on...that's coaching, blocking, the QB himself recognizing things.   All of it.. it was improving.

The 37 out of 37 was the entire season...which includes the first 4 games when he was turning it over.

He improved changing turnovers to sacks.... he can improve changing sacks to incomplete passes.

He can improve running out of bounds for sacks...instead throw the ball away last second.  He can improve by throwing the ball at the feet of a TE or RB blocking.

But no improvement is as big as avoiding a turnover.  Which he did...since week 5.

He had to suffer through adversity. Put his ego in check some. But also made him crucially desperate to work his tail off. He matured some..I mean he was arguing and explaining his gameplan playcalling with fans…clearly hearing what fans were telling instead of locked in knowing doing his job. He improved on the relationship with his players. It’s a two way street…they figured out how to work with Siri/him with them. Siri I believe was the rare coach to have pulled this season’s strategy off. It couldn’t have been possible without the special players…talent sure…but I’m talking about selfless winners. How many players at QB and WR you can make that would do what these guys did? I’m really not sure I can name any others…heck even these great character guys it was extremely difficult you have to know. Except not putting up stats for winning…or the hope and belief of winning. Rare stuff!

Go back and look at the season... without bias.  Neutral perspective...not " I wanted this or that"

Which is your problem.  You have these Hollywood ideas in your head prior to anything...you missed the whole development as the year was happening.   Was a great season to watch and you missed it all because of these ideas...." great O mind" " Moore’s offense "

Stop limiting yourself with these preconceived ideas.

That wasn’t the major improvement. Again…if you preach make sure to not turn it over…that’s clearly going to lead to more caution when pressured. His whole life he’s thrived by making the big plays when pressured. Hurts had to dial that all back…for the team. He was asked to just protect the ball and not turn it over. Doesn’t mean he struggles under pressure…as much as it means he was ordered and followed wishes to avoid turnovers at all costs.

By mid season most of the national media started claiming the Eagles were the team to beat!    Obviously they were seeing the improvement.

And most of the media is like you.. they don't like Siri because of meaningless off the field crap.

Detroit was the media darling all year..the team people "wanted" to be the best.   So people acknowledging the Eagles were the team to beat said a lot.

Feels like it played out at the end much of what my concerns were expressing. Were we bringing home a parade by handing off to Barkley in the SB?

Most of the media is completely opposite of me. To that point everybody here knows very much I could care less about their opinions on things…especially concerning the Eagles. I value my own opinions and insight more. Like I’ve stated several times..I wasn’t correct on everything. It’s true. Mostly I was just concerned we weren’t going to be ready to do…exactly what it turned out we needed to do at the end…which is when I was saying we needed to do it. So it worked out….I was concerned….I paid so much attention I noticed our chinks in our armor.

Detroit wax the team to beat…suffered injuries…then ran into that buzz saw that is Jayden Daniels. Do you recall anybody here explicitly warning Jayden Daniels is a problem? That’s as soon as they drafted him.
It’s not just meaningless off the field crap with Siri. Take your own advice…take off the rose colored glasses. He wasn’t a very mature HC by most any standards. He has his strengths…he has his weaknesses. We saw him mature and grow up some this very season. Huge for him. He’s a players coach….they saw him fighting for his career life…that galvanized the team. Worked out fantastic! But …he still has weaknesses…duh..everybody does…just need to keep improving on how to work with his strengths and delegate the weakness areas to others.

When he’s calling plays and then coming back acknowledging he was letting fans screamed suggestions eat him up….that doesn’t work in coaching. He’s gotta block all that out. Gotta trust in his own abilities.

The major improvement was avoiding putting Hurts in situations where he was pressured.   Then when he was pressured, he avoided turnovers.... that combo was the key to the offense after the bye.

Feels like you were missing out on watching it play out since October

Many of the improvements and changes are hard to see. So much of things we improved and grew with on O were revolving around Moore providing  a scheme. Kelce retired. Hurts was reading the D and calling blocking assignments for the first time. That’s huge. Big time growth stuff there. We now had the whole O readily the D. WRs, TEs and RBs all adjusting according to the D playcall. Something that shouldn’t have been as enormous as it was for a pro team. Everybody had to be on the same page. Then you have the power of audibling and adjustments given to Hurts. Massive difference in this area this season under Moore. How many crucial plays were changed into by Hurts? A ridiculous amount! Really really ridiculous amount. Moore wasn’t the great playcaller…but he could coach a scheme with reasons for the answers…that were an expectation.
