And how did that focus affect the passing game?

On the second/ third and longs because Saquan choked in the big game?

Doesn’t matter how many guys were focused on stopping Saquon compared to coverage?

On the second/third and longs after the failed runs? A normal amount for a D expecting the pass…except when they blitzed…which they did also.

It made us focus on the passing game…or Hurts with his legs…because we were behind on down and distance after handing off to Saquan for two yards a pop.

Trying to figure out if you’re trying say when Spags dialed up the blitz …you’re trying to say you believe he was so focused on Saquan? Can’t be that

Are you trying to say on the second and longs Spags was overly dialed up on Saquan? No can’t be that

I think you’re the one being dense trying to make everything about Saquan here. Sure the OPOY commands attention…like he has ever since college ball. But I’m listing so many of our key first half plays being made. Most weren’t because they were focused in on Saquan…they stopped Saquan.

Lmao because it was obvious to see the focus KC had to stop Saquon in the SB

Are you trying to say the third and longs…is when Spags was overly ganging up expecting the handoff to Saquan? Definitely can’t be there.

So which of all those first half key plays I just listed..like 8 of them…are you saying the D was  opened up because of their focus on Saquan?

Like Saquon getting us to 3rd and 5 and Hurts getting bailed out by a penalty?

The 2nd and 11 when we have ran the ball 6 times with Saquon going to tell me Spags wast still concerned about Saquon on the press coverage that Dotson got open on?

Or the 4 yards Hurts lost on a run that Saquon then gained back on 2nd down? That led to a Hurts int on 3rd????

2nd and 6 pass converted first down

3rd and 11 Hurts runs

2nd 8 ….18 yard pass

2nd 11 …27 yard pass to Dotson

Hurts finished running in the TD

3rd and 8 pass first down

3rd and 7 pass for 22

2nd and 8 pass to AJ for a TD

You let me know which of these after failed Saquan runs had us behind the sticks provided such an opening to surprise the Chiefs we’d pass on.

Want to talk the 1 play TD in the 3rd qtr that was directly caused by the play action to Saquon…. No Spags was t focused on Saquon on that play at all no effect

Again neglecting the 3rd 5 which is what you want in the NFL that is a manageable 3rd down in the NfL that was bailed out by a penalty on a Hurts throw

completely neglected the Hurts INT drive which was a direct cause of a negative HURTS PLAY being behind the sticks and the turnover

The beautiful call by Siri on the Smitty TD was a play action, right? I didn’t include that in my listings of key passes that completely weren’t relying on attention to Saquan in the first half. Their LBs sucked in on Saquan on that play for sure. Is a LB covering Smitty deep though? How often can anybody afford to double team Smitty anyway? But that play was a false handoff first at least. So that one could fall into the category you are trying to pigeonhole our entire passing game under. Not a very good example though really…

And again that’s just the first half then you see start of the 3rd qtr the focus on Saquon on first play 46 yards WIDE OPEN SMITH on a play action to that guy that was choking in the SB man why would Spags be so focused on a choker like Saquon in that moment

mmmmmm I wonder because the game plan and focus was obvious stop Saquon and make Hurts beat us

There you go…just like I said. Your point being if not for Saquan…Smitty would have been double teamed? I guess you’re trying to say.

Which team didn’t have the focus on trying to stop the second overall pick OPOY?

Double teamed when??? On the wide open deep shot lol the two trailing defenders trying to make up ground because they got drawn in by Saquon

Chiefs were the first to realize ..hey that Saquan guy pretty good?

One guy in coverage…which is really very normal for any teams number two WR.

But yeah…I did say that was at least better case for you to make than all the rest…not a good case mind you…but better.

They were one of the few teams that had a good enough defense to stop Saquon mentioned the Steelers had a similar approach mmmm also happened to be one of the best games for Hurts passing wonder why maybe idk the FOCUS ON STOPPING SAQUON

But sure…Hurts and our O could only successfully pass because of Saquan…sure. Him pounding out those 2 yard runs really made the Chiefs so clueless we were going to pass. Like your point is…the Chiefs we’re just completely focused on stopping the run on those second/third down and longs.

Moore took over the gameplan…and the O that week. …then surprise it could have been done all along…shocker to you…I know.

Just to further the dominance of KC against the run they have not allowed a 100 yard rusher in there last 18 GAMES…. This is a dominant rushing team that focused on taking away our best player

Here I’ll post it a third time since you obviously missed it. Which if these key passing plays were the Chiefs overly focused in on the handoff to Saquan?
