The major improvement was avoiding putting Hurts in situations where he was pressured.   Then when he was pressured, he avoided turnovers.... that combo was the key to the offense after the bye.

The major improvement was Hurts running things making it his own!

Feels like you were missing out on watching it play out since October

You’re avoiding to answer the question …is an obvious answer by you acknowledging you know I was/am right.

Lol... all about one guy for you!

Again,  that's why you missed the whole team improving all season.

But it's all of us just focusing on Hurts... lol.

????   WTF are you talking about?  You asked a question?

But ....at least you finally acknowledged that Hurts was playing the style that he wanted to play.

Not anyone holding him back.

On O…how could you really have any other answer? The whole O changed converting to Hurts and the O all reading the D this season to make the O work. He stepped up for the first time calling blocking assignments. Something Clearly I feel is a much bigger deal than you do. Hurts took control of the O as a whole so much more this season. He motioned guys…changed up little details on the fly….had a massive increase in play control!

LOL right don't count the guys that got you there all year, just the ones for the big game LOL

It was messing around with this stupidity.. was bored today.   Should be seeing some NFL news...

Rumors Zack Martin retiring....Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers...who knows.

He was front held back…I do believe the loosening up the straight jacket comment. We saw it unfold at the end what this O was actually capable of. But….clearly we now know Siri preached to him the thoughts of the team will win if he just doesn’t turn the ball over. Conservative approach to not lose. Not the max level the O could have performed at. Definitely not a glorious stat passing style most any other QB would even consider to do. Hurts accepted taking the heat and being very susceptible to bashing…in the name of winning. He checked his ego…to win! How many would do what he did? Not sure I’ve really ever seen it to these levels.

Yes…it was when I put words right before a question mark.

This was your answer responding by quoting the question. When I asked were we bringing home a parade by handing off to Barkley?

Which you have to avoid…because it’s exactly what my concern I was expressing all season pretty much revolved around. We couldn’t just hand off to Barkley and be champions. Wasn’t going to happen. We needed more…at the end….like I was saying. Which we did have and delivered.

So if you make a major stress point of just don’t turn the ball over….what should happen from the QB if faced with pressure? It’s going to be a low passer rating answer …I’ll give you that much of a hint.

That’s not so much a QB struggle looking at passer rating stats in those situations…that reflected the coaches wishes in those situations.

QB pressure is something that shouldn’t really happen though, right? If a QB reads the situation correctly….everybody does their jobs….It doesn’t exist. It only exists when? When blocking assignments are blown. Otherwise QB has a bad read on things, targets didn’t get open or blockers got beat.

Then consider..,I know this is so much here…but we were putting together a new O that was a work in progress. So if any guys on O just weren’t on the same page? Blame the WR or the QB…either way…if it’s not what Hurts was expecting whole that all were learning and putting this new I together…you most likely result in pressure on the QB with him not forcing a ball downfield.

Let’s watch and see how Hurts is under pressure …in the biggest moment in sports.

Pressure…he avoids and runs picking up the first down.

Pressure…he delivers a strike to Smitty.

Pressure…he delivers to Goedert.
Pressure …he gouges them to AJ/Dotson(didn’t catch which WR)

Pressure…he avoids and takes off big run.

That’s just the first half…we can continue. What I see is Hurts getting pressured with him converting first downs.

Nolan Smith had surgery Wednesday...apparently he tore his triceps during the Superbowl and kept playing.

Stud!

Cam had his back surgery also

Hurts is actually one of the best quarterbacks in the league against the blitz in 2024, completing 66.1% of his passes (74 of 112) for 945 yards with nine touchdowns to one interception for a 115.4 passer rating (sixth in the NFL).

this was a quote I took from an article titled: Chiefs well aware of how good Hurts is against the blitz on CBS

Making sure you aren’t confusing against the blitz and being pressured

Jalen Hurts is officially the most accurate passer in Super Bowl history. He also has the 4th-highest career passer rating, and the 2nd-highest rushing average of any player in SB history.

Jalen Hurts was given a 91.4 PFF rating based on his performance vs. the Commanders in the NFC Championship, making him the highest graded player of the weekend.
