The absolutely hilarious part is how you(No Mas) actually tried to state with a straight face that a QB under pressure is such individual situation only on the QB. When such a high percentage of when the QB gets pressured is because somebody else made a mistake.

All those times I brought up the messed up Oline blocking assignments where they blocked nobody and left a rusher free run….Qb gets pressured.

When Gainwell missed his blocking assignments…QB pressured.
When receiving targets don’t get open because of playcall or execution…QB gets pressured.

That’s the most common situation a QB falls under pressure…is when he expects his own guys to perform duties they don’t. It’s pretty much the main whole unit situation around…furthest from ALL solely on the QB.

But let me get back to the film…so many more clips to hear "under pressure”…”Hurts converts a first down”….”Hurts scores a TD”…over and over again

Even with all the different play callers(12)since high school, Hurts has still compiled an 89-20 record as a full-time starter in college and the NFL. He's made the playoffs in all of those seasons, with four title game appearances, a top-two finish in the MVP and Heisman Trophy voting, and a Super Bowl championship with a Super Bowl MVP.

Like I said…it’s not so much of him struggling as him being coached to do pretty much exactly that. Exact coaching point of avoid turnovers at all costs. Which pretty much exactly means when under pressure being the main time to secure the ball. Yet like I went through after staring the clip from the SB…he just converted and converted and converted first downs under pressure against the Chiefs.

Again... pay attention as I will go slow.

1.  The vs pressure stat was for the whole season.   He had turnovers early... that lowers the rating more than anything else.

2.  Hurts played his style.  The one that doesn't look pretty but the one that worked for him prior to starting to play hero ball and turn it over. He went back to that.

3. They passed less, that avoided having " pressure" on Hurts because of less opportunities for the D to pass rush him.

4.  As a team, which includes Hurts, they adjusted to blitz pickup much better.

The fact that one play stands out so much where Bolden wasn't blocked is a sign of how good they were. Elite level.

That changed the whole team.  Take care of the ball and now a defense has to stop them.  It also made our D better by keeping them off the field and avoiding short fields.

More emphasis on running the ball, better blitz pickup, Hurts taking care of the ball.... that completely changed the dynamic.

So don't forget this point... 37 out of 37.  Is reflecting the turnovers early.

If they kept that from week 6 on, I'm sure his rating would be much better.  I believe through the rest of the season including 4 playoff games..  he only had 2 Interceptions and one fumble lost.

That's elite level of taking care of the ball.

Combined with the amount of time the OL gave him, another elite level when looking at comparing the other teams.

Those 2 factors make it difficult for a defense.

Barkley doesn't fumble... Hurts doesn't turn it over, and you can't get pressure on our OL.   That's difficult to defend.

Instead of the narrative where Barkley choked in the Super Bowl …Barkley was a stud in pass protection in the Super Bowl.

Even posting a post 6/1 retirement, dem Boyz still have to pay Martin 9.4 mill this coming season, and 17 mill the season after that - shrewd Jerruh

Barkley was a stud in pass protection all year... he  didn't have to come off the field like Sanders and Swift did... that did 2 things, kept the defense still thinking run....and kept Gainwell more fresh by doing less dirty work.

25 carries ...like left jabs in a fight...  keeps the defense honest and off balance.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the effects.

Where's all the John Lynch love?

It's a waste of time.. if anyone came on here and read his posts the entire 2024 season ... they would think it was a joke.

I'm going to root for my team, even with the crap coaches LOL

I'm not skipping over anything.  Stating the facts...you were missing all the improvements because your focus was all on your boy.

You are barely an Eagles fan anymore... just Hurts.

It's really pathetic

Hurts is actually one of the best quarterbacks in the league against the blitz in 2024, completing 66.1% of his passes (74 of 112) for 945 yards with nine touchdowns to one interception for a 115.4 passer rating (sixth in the NFL).

this was a quote I took from an article titled: Chiefs well aware of how good Hurts is against the blitz on CBS

Yes FANTASTIC O line

It takes the whole unit is what I keep stressing really….but anything you can try to Hurts Hate…I know you’ll do

What am I confused is there a narrative that Saquon choked in the SB lol…. Did we not see the amount of focus the defense put into stopping Saquon? Clearly the KC game plan was to take away Saquon and force Hurts to beat us which Hurts did.

Could see the impact Saquon had on the play action to Smith in the 3rd qtr.

every team focused on the best O player in the whole league…most all of the season. Holes were there he missed though. He just didn’t do…what he had done the whole rest of the season. What was so drastically different you are saying? Obviously you aren’t suggesting the Chiefs were the first to ever realize Saquan was a good player. Just a position he’s really never been in before. Like I said…even though he bobbled the catch…he still made it. Plus he stepped up with a couple of big blocks.

What team played us that didn’t think we’re running the ball?

KC already had a top D unit along with a top DC to actually execute taking away Saquon. Wasn’t KC like top 5 in defense this year against the run?

Just watching the game you could see the commitment to stopping Saquon and how much it opened up the passing game…. KC made a choice and Hurts made them pay it’s not a bad thing

The Steelers did something similar when we played them the focus on Saquon was there and it clearly opened up the passing game to allow Hurts to shine…. Not like Saquon was a non factor the factor was him drawing in the defense to force them to stop him opening up the passing attack.

Chiefs were  8th best run D behind the Packers

Because he never missed a hole all season before the Superbowl?  Perhaps the holes closed faster with KC?  Just curious..how many 100 yard rushing games did KC give up all season ???

And why is saying our Oline is elite somehow translate to " Hurts hate"
