February 24, 20251 yr Funny how the Pack CEO even mentioned how they won a title behind Bart Starr being so successful with the QB Sneak.
February 24, 20251 yr "I didn’t understand or didn’t realize how far they had gone with their commitment in terms of it looking like a rugby play in a scrum,” Pete Carroll told reporters via Stephen Holder. "That was an evolutionary opportunity for the league. I thought it was an exciting part of the game, but other people might think that it’s such a departure from what we’ve done in the past that we can’t go with that. We can’t do that. I don’t think like that. I think it could be a really cool thing.”
February 24, 20251 yr Was reading an interview with Bradberry talking about how he stepped up big time helping coach our young secondary players. That he possibly sees transitioning into coaching himself. Clearly his playing days don’t look to continue. We are guaranteed to cut him post June 1st. He was clearly a terrible signing to this three year contract ending this season. Playing very poorly the first year of the contract…then being stashed on IR last season…going to be cut this final season of the contract.

We played 21 games this year.. that means 63 or less times is 3 or less per game right? Idk is it different on planet Ham?

Been confirmed that the team who wants to rule change is the Packers now as well Never said that you said they would get 24 votes. But that is the number needed.

February 24, 20251 yr 38 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: Injury rate is kind of tough to really judge and say. There is a reason Kelce yelled out he hates his life each time we ran the play…it’s brutal! Not really tough... they count the injuries after the play.
February 24, 20251 yr Just now, cunninghamtheman said: Like I stated very clearly I don’t have the numbers on how many times we ran the play. But do know it wasn’t just only on 3rd/4th and ones. 2022 = 27 times 2023= 42 times I think safe to say it wasn't 63 times last year

February 24, 20251 yr But... if we run regular QB sneaks instead...but run one less per game... it would completely change the injuries? 35 regular sneaks vs 52 Brotherly Shoves... that's going to make a tremendous difference? 1600 snaps all season...it's those few that are going to really change the injuries? Now coming in to play left field....
February 24, 20251 yr You have to give full credit to Rosie for building this team designed to be so good at The Brotherly Shove. Siri full credit for getting so detailing and perfecting it taking it to a completely different level. Dickerson and Hurts specifically being such key elements to making it so successful.
February 24, 20251 yr So our team is looking to visit the White House…contrary to all those erroneous reports.
February 24, 20251 yr The Eagles' in-season defensive improvement was key to their dominant Super Bowl run, and their tackling was a major factor. Through the first six weeks of 2024, their missed tackle rate (15.7%) was the second-highest in the NFL, and they had forced only one fumble. From Week 7 through the Super Bowl, they cut their missed tackle rate to 12.7% and forced a spectacular 23 fumbles, nine more than any other team.
February 25, 20251 yr team has a formal meeting with Florida defensive tackle Cam Jackson …Nose Tackle
February 25, 20251 yr Eagles linebacker Jalyx Hunt discussed Fangio's reaction to the team's 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl and said the defensive coordinator called the unit's second-half effort "unacceptable."

February 25, 20251 yr 15 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: Consider, Green Bay president and CEO Mark Murphy wrote on the team’s website after the Packers were eliminated by the Eagles that the tush push is " bad for the game.” "There is no skill involved and it is almost an automatic first down on plays of a yard or less,” Murphy wrote. "The series of plays with the Commanders jumping offsides in the NFC Championship Game to try to stop the play was ridiculous. ... I would like to see the league prohibit pushing or aiding the run.” These statements made even before the SB….so yeah…no surprise the Pack want it gone. You would have to remove that element from every play. That would completely change the current dynamic of fighting for extra yards at the end of plays. There is literally no injury data to prove a ban is warranted. The other argument is optics. If you don't like watching the sight of physical, tough football than maybe the tackle version isn't for you. I seriously can't believe anybody would ask to get the tush push out of football. There is no reasonable justification. Maybe they should instead consider taking intentional grounding back out of the game. Intentional should mean intentional.

It actually was the football we all grew up with that you couldn’t push your own guy forward…you could only block and push the defender.
