February 25, 20251 yr There was some talk that maybe Davis could be included in a Myles Garrett trade
February 25, 20251 yr Washington could be a big contender for Garrett’s services. How does that effect your feelings on whether we should make the trade ourselves?
February 25, 20251 yr 13th overall pick is cheaper than the 52nd overall pick from that 2022 draft this season. Cam has a higher cap number than Jordan.

Yes....Davis had the signing bonus spread out over the years.....the 2nd round pick isn't as much. Cam has the final year salary. So much easier to extend and save money by converting more salary to signing bonus.

He played well proving himself this season. 7 mil over three seasons would be a real nice payday for him.
February 26, 20251 yr "It may look different — some of the moves that we may have to make here may not be what are necessarily on other people’s minds,” general manager Howie Roseman told reporters on Tuesday. "It’s probably not going to look like maybe the conventional wisdom thinks it should look. I would just ask our fans to just have patience throughout the offseason. The offseason doesn’t stop in free agency. The offseason doesn’t stop in the draft.”
February 26, 20251 yr I mean this quote from Rosie just had to get your wheels turning big time contemplating what he has in store. I actually believe he’s raising up the warning for us to not freak out here.
February 26, 20251 yr If you take his words straight up he’s saying we are losing guys big time in FA. Going to earn those compensatory picks. Aren’t going to be buyers in FA either then. At pick 32…the draft ammo is pretty weak also. So dialing back expectations….going to actually take his words to really mean it this time.
February 26, 20251 yr But not all doom and gloom. The secondary FA market is where his plan must lie. That and he has some ideas of cap casualty vets lined up right before the season to possibly get hold of.

February 26, 20251 yr I’ve really liked the just blue collar hard working player that Milton has always been. Going to be a tough loss. But the talk is all about how weak this FA class is. Which means Milton should break the bank. Happy for him and his family…but…well we all get it…
February 26, 20251 yr He was the second most productive pass rushing DT this season. I knew he was kicking butt…but didn’t actually realize at that level. Obviously benefitted big time playing next to Jalen Carter. He won his one on one’s most all the time taking full advantage.
February 26, 20251 yr Obviously you would have to believe Rosie has put his feelers out getting a pretty good understanding of what all our guys are looking for to be retained or extended.
February 26, 20251 yr "I almost feel a little insulted, because we work so hard at that play. The amount of things that we've looked into how to coach that play, the fundamentals. There's a thousand plays out there. It comes down to how to teach the fundamentals and how the players go through and do the fundamentals. I can't tell you how many times we've practiced the snap, practiced the play, because it's not easy to practice. There are different ways we figured out how to practice it," Sirianni said speaking of The Brotherly Shove.

Bringing in the Rugby guy…and all….but really haven’t put enough consideration into how they actually do practice performing it. They can’t just be completely blowing each other up all TC to practice this play. Be counterproductive. Obviously what he’s put together really has worked….that’s an understatement.
