As I said,if it was me I trade the 32 back unless there is a super sweet player we want(like what happened with DeJean) A weak draft class….can be experienced. It can be both of those.

He got super detailed and perfected a play we were built to dominate on. Kelce has specifically mentioned for years that Siri’ best quality is the attention to detail. A guy like that...cannot be bad at Xs & Os...that is specifically what Kelce said about his coaching. The details of the Xs and Os matter.

Of course not.

But…I’ve always credited him with going the extra lengths and detailing to perfect The Brotherly Shove play. I disagree with missing the big picture. It was exactly what my concern was with. Which was exactly what things came down to us needing. I was convinced we’d need the passing part of our O to be hitting to get where we wanted to go …AT THE END. Did we need that….exactly where I was targeting to say we would? Yea…without question. And we had it…and delivered. I give full credit. I thought we had that most all along to be unleashed. We couldhave been doing that much longer. You were convinced all season that Siri was causing the team not to get better...because apparently he was " stunting the growth just worrying about winning week 6." You kept mentioning week 6 all the way until after the Washington game when they made the Superbowl. You then finally started acting like an Eagles fan just incase they won. .otherwise you were going to be all about how Reid was the better coach getting his team peaked at the end. You were either oblivious or just refused to acknowledge how the Eagles were getting better as the season progressed. They had the bad week vs Carolina...that was Hurts worst game. Then they dominated Pittsburgh and were rolling after that....Hurts got a concussion to ruin the momentum. The defense had its worst quarter after CGJ was ejected. But they continued to roll vs Dallas..etc. Peaked at the end as Hurts was further away from the concussion and the weather got better for the passing game. It was happening all season... you either missed it or refused to acknowledge as it was happening.

Exactly what you always get stuck on when I’m making a more philosophical point. Week one isn’t as important as at the end was my main point I kept making. See you always get bogged down with that crap. I mentioned plenty of different regular season games that aren’t to be prioritized as much as the postseason. That one week at a time approach.
February 27, 20251 yr The 3 keys... 1. They started running the ball more... that helps both sides of the ball 2. Hurts stopped being reckless and went back to the first 3 years of his career taking care of the ball...elite level. 3. Dejean was inserted at Nickel and the defense just rolled from there. Each week it was getting better... except Carolina...they are allowed to have an off game. They just won 2 big road games at LA and Baltimore. But they were getting better each week.

But yeah…I said before the season I felt the key was advancing as far…and as quickly as possible in the one season under Moore as determining our ceiling. I was concerned the learning curve wasn’t advancing as fast as it could have. Still feel that way. But…it advanced far enough to get the job done…right up to the last minute. Did we need exactly what I was talking about needing at the very end? Which is when exactly I stated we were going to her it? Yes…it did exactly play out like I was thinking. Did we have what we needed? Yes..we did.

First six weeks we were next to last in tackling. Terrible tackling! Siri made the boneheaded call in the ATL game. Injuries just crippled our chances going down in the heat of TB. We did improve…learned the new schemes. Opened things up giving the keys to Moore tight for the Pitt game. With was pretty much exactly the last minute…when you consider what happened to Hurts with his concussion.

February 27, 20251 yr Dude...just stop....I can easily go back to read your posts...you know that now right.? Just stop. You were convinced that the way they were playing was just to save Siri’s job week 6...and it wasn't good for the long run. You said it over and over again...we all know it. Just stop, you ate only sounding dumber with each post trying to spin it.
February 27, 20251 yr AJ said himself when? The passing game needs to improve. Same thing I was saying. Our guys just weren’t getting the reps to iron things out. Just not much substitute for under live action against opponents. We didn’t get there…where o was saying we could have been somber…until the end. Which worked….just in the nick of time.

Something there was no way to have known. So o noticed what happened….there was a change. Just didn’t know exactly at that time why it occurred. I’m fine with not being in Siri’s office not knowing this. How could I have. Siri was getting fired if we lost to the Browns. Everybody I talked to pretty much all thought that. Siri had a bad start to the season. Even after that. Debating with the fans showing he was listening to fans thoughts about his playcalling. You just can’t go that. I totally believe in sports you just gotta tune the fans out.

The passing game hit the low point vs Carolina. That was Hurts worst game... that was blip... an off game in the grand scheme... just go look back. Then he dominated vs Pittsburgh...started out hot vs Washington. Without the concussion.... the momentum was there for the whole team. It just had to restart in the playoffs and the weather wasn't made for passing . You could see it getting better vs the Rams... could have easily been a 45-50 point game if not or easy dumb mistakes, but the play was there. No mistakes the last 2 weeks and look at the results.

February 27, 20251 yr It wasn’t a good start to the season for Siri. This went past week 6. Him debating with fans about his playcalling was bad midgame.

I felt the O could get so much further than we were showing. I was much more willing to risk more …to advance the learning curve faster. I felt strongly we were going to need it at the end. Which I kept stating over and over…and we did. We needed it…and we delivered. I have and still give credit for retyping the job done. Clearly concern was very reasonable to be had about it. Ask AJ…trust me AJ and myself weren’t the only ones understanding we were going to need this to get where we wanted to go. And it was needed.
