Owners want one, why they change coaches, why they spend money on players, why they attend the draft, why they build new stadiums. More wins= more fans in the stadium = more jerseys sold. Not ONE team won a Lombardi for "culture". At least none I am aware ofPlenty of teams didn’t contend because of the bad culture

You can’t change the reality of Hurts’ powerful thighs, and Saquon and A.J. Dillon have equal leg power. So Saquon will line up beside Hurts rather than behind him, and when the ball is snapped the O-Line will surge forward, as will Hhurts, Saquon, and A. J. The Defense will be driven back off the LOS and Hurts will choose either Saquon’s seam or A.J.’s seam to drive through. Different, but the same … and compliant. It appears they are going to ban it now. We will be scrutinized much more than any other team about it.

They directly attacked pushing the QB behind C. The thinking is all they need to do is go back to the old rules of the way football always was previously. You just can’t push/pull your own player forward. You can block a defender trying to tackle the ball carrier is all.

May 6, 20251 yr So the Cam contract is puffed up with completely fake 28 mil six years from now…that we aren’t facing any of the dead money trapping us….is this your assessment of his extension?
May 6, 20251 yr 2027 —-8.6 mil cap hit is the price we have to pay here for Cam. Which does go right along with my thinking. All In for the next two years…then we can have a suck it up year concerning the cap along with Saquan and Lane crucial losses.
May 6, 20251 yr 43 mil of the 68 mil media headline about his contract is completely fake and never will happen with Cam. He gets the notoriety and respect comes along with headlines of top paid C….which we all know, especially at his position of C, is what’s key to Pro Bowl balloting fluff.

Exactly the key guys we’ve had that have overcome so much to find ways to win the last several years. No better example of what AJ, Smitty and Hurts sacrificed purely for team winning. Bad culture stems from players just needing to feed egos and not even caring about playing as a team. Heck even to levels of where winning just isn’t even an expectation. Pats don’t believe in themselves. Players aren’t bonding together to do what’s best for just any team. Heck find any other WR duo and QB combo that even is willing to sacrifice personal career ego for team success. Much less asking a player to self sacrifice for a team not contending. Not happening. Bad culture organizations can most easily be explained by looking inward at exactly what our Eagles now possess. Starts at the top. HC relations with players. Ownership buy in. GM relations across the board. Nothing more key than player leadership.

All we have is AJ and Hurts. Saquan just doesn’t get it done at a high enough rate. Too many times we saw Siri trying to just reward him after a nice gain setting us up inside the ten. Two…even three carries at times. So many times just being forced to turn to Hurts to get it done. Smitty isn’t the worst goaline WR for his least ideal body type actually. But defenders can get a body on him enough to disrupt timing. Goedert staying or going never proven to be a TD weapon.
May 6, 20251 yr The success rate of Hurts scoring us TDs in the Redzone any which way he wills it to happen has been arguably the most crucial element surrounding our success.
May 6, 20251 yr I’m going to preemptively head off Hurts only scoring on Brotherly Shoves right from the start here. He’s run it in plenty outside of that single play. Think Bills OT incredible comeback victory!
May 6, 20251 yr I posted stats of just how incredible we’ve been at scoring TDs in the Redzone just a month ago. Yet we really don’t have good Redzone weapons. Oline is clearly a weapon, AJ and Hurts.
May 6, 20251 yr So I think the rumors of expectation of banning The Brotherly Shove Lurie understands are very likely here. Which really brings into focus the need for Goedert to be replaced with a proven Redzone weapon.
May 6, 20251 yr Had the foresight to already add Dillon. Thinking a FB leading him is a very strong physical approach. But Dillon is far from a safe bet. He’s borderline retirement…or ideal.
May 6, 20251 yr One thing can’t be denied is Lurie and Rosie always having a real understanding for every other teams standing on most things. Players, votes….etc.

Seems just so obviously very real predictable environment between just 32 companies each valued at billions. I really despise Kraft and the Pats believing their accomplishments were based on their superior investment in cheating. But….to be real….we fairly obviously are up to espionage on the others…to some degrees.
May 6, 20251 yr Rosie so consistently utilizes his perfect read on the market for players. He has such knowledge about every teams intentions with players(adding, cutting, drafting…). He so specifically doesn’t engage with players being a great fit for us….understanding ahead of time he can’t win over who his competition is.
May 6, 20251 yr The way he looks to trade so specifically surrounding exact threats for his draft targets.
May 6, 20251 yr We see here this offseason how we’ve been moving with an understanding of our Brotherly Shove being banned.
