They need to make 10 yards in 3 plays not 4. So IDK what the rules could be, now what justifies a "push". GOing to be a very gray area and the refs are already having issues as it isThe Eagles will transform gray into black and white. It is easy to do. With no one behind Hurts there will be very simple evidence that Hurts has not been pushed.

All Hurts had to do was not have any turnovers. DeJeans pick 6 really took the air out of their sailsNo, Siri didn’t. Lane Johnson and the O-Line, and Stoutland, and Siri, and Hurts assessed the risk profile of Moore’s Offensive scheme and made adjustments to reduce the structural risk. The result was an offense that was very different than anything Moore had ever deployed.

Too many picks and hero ball

The Moore Offense assumed an unacceptable level of risk that any QB would have problems shouldering. Just ask Dak.

Just ask Dak.Well we disagree then. The risk was letting Hurts throw, many were not his fault, still the turnovers were killer we were 2-2 at that point. Hurts is fine with short range passes, the Moore offense was more "west coast" and Hurts doesn't have a cannon arm

May 7, 20251 yr 2 hours ago, GreenbleedinNC said:So Hurts has to do that alone with no pushNo one does anything alone in football. It is a team game. However, Jin response to your meaning, the simple answer is yes. Saquon and his powerful thighs will flank Hurts on one side, and A.J.and his powerful thighs will flank Hurts on the other side. When Jurgens snaps the ball, the O-Line will surge forward just as they do in the Push. Saquon, Hurts, and A.J. Will surge forward behind the IOL in front of them. Substantially more power than the D. Hurts will look for a seam to open thanks to Saquon and/or A.J. And into the Endzone he will go. Superior power will out.

Hurts is fine with short range passes, the Moore offense was more "west coast" and Hurts doesn't have a cannon armYou are right we disagree. Hurts throwing in risky situations was a symptom of the underlying cause … the willingness on Moore’s part to put the team into 3rd and long situations where the opposing Defense knew what was predictably coming. After the Bye the frequency of 3rd and long plummeted, the plays became much less predictable and harder to defend. On the other side of the ball, Fangio’s Defense did the same thing in reverse. Using Davis as the immovable object in the middle of the line, the Defense throttled any attempts by the opposing RBs to establish a running game. As a result the frequency of 3rd and long for the opponents increased substantially. With that said, there was one vulnerability that the Eagles D succumbed to far too often … QB scrambles on broken pass plays. That was especially true with Daniels.

The new Coordinators and new players had very little cohesion or chemistry. Moore tried to fit a square peg into a round hole with his poorly conceived Offensive scheme and Fangio wasn’t using DeJean or the light box. After the Bye all that changed.
