So wat are you bishing about then? QB's face 3rd and longs many times. their job it to covert them. Not every run play is going to net you 8 yards LOL. You just cherry pick ONE play and just grind it into the ground until it becomes ridiculous

Actually broke down the entire SB game already once. Came back now repeating efforts…yet laid out the first two series to begin the game. Not cherry picking one…at all. Started from the beggining …to see if anybody can actually backup there conclusion of bad Barkley production actually created a change making things so much easier for the rest of our players.

Still waiting….

You and I disagree about SB LVII. Hurts performance in that game was far from a choke. The fumble was indeed a bad play but it was only a single play in a long list of Hurts plays that day, and the sum total of his play for the day was MVP worthy, not a choke.

JMO

True but a free 6 in a SB to me isn't just a bad play. It was a worse play than Bark dropping a pass in ATL. I mean if it was knocked out ok,but it was just dropped. I'm sure he learned a great lesson that play. You improve and move on which Hurts did. Just trying to illustrate to Ham that even heroes can make a bad play

Here for all easy explanations. Guess when I get a minute need to go back and bring up the exact quote of your words….since that seems to have become a point of some contention from you and No Mas. Also not a real issue…just didn’t assume I was going g to be forced to bring up your own words quoted that I just from memory repeated.

Since it’s a need…being that your own statements aren’t being admitted and owned…I’ll prove it. Is what it is.

Your issue is your memory isn't really good. You either assume incorrectly what someone actually said...or you intentionally get it wrong.

This is why I have said that it's difficult having a conversation with you. Plus you never answer a simple direct question.

Sure it isn’t a choke of a golfer misses a short putt on 18 with the Masters Championship on the line.

Sure it isn’t a choke if a player misses a few throw with the game on the line.

Timing is everything. Was the game on the line when Hurts fumbled in SB LVII? No, there was lots of game left to play. Was the game on the line in any Saquon running play in SBIX? No, not even once.

2nd and 3rd and 11s results after Barkley:

How can you say with a straight face Spags was selling out against the run there?

How can you explain it being a gifted easier situation just setting Hurts up for easier conversions?

SB MVP Patrick Mahomes

Drop cost Hurts that SB MVP yes????

But hold on…I have to waste time digging up MattyWill’s post …and me just quoting him from memory accurately isn’t enough…since own statements aren’t just being owned and admitted….my time must be utilized proving that instead of any of this other stuff…please hold

Only thing appropriate there is all the question marks after such a questionable statement

The nine yard gain was Hurts will powering our team forward out of a bad situation resulting from Barkley.

PREACH IT BROTHER!!!! Hurts is a GOD!!!!

Wait. .I thought it was Siri’s fault. Didn't I say we were 2 easy drops away from beating Atlanta and Washington.... which made the only blemish the Tampa game where half the offense was injured and it was 100 degrees.

Now Barkley choked... even though it wasn't the Superbowl? Which btw I just watched again.. dude was a blocking machine.

3rd and 11 first series. 2nd and 11 second series after Saquan put us in that hole. Still waiting for reasoning of how that made things easier for Hurts. Also how it completely changes the situation from the otherwise usual triple team coverage Dotson normally faces. Trying to figure or his anybody keeps staring they believe Spags was completely selling out on those plays against the run on Barkley. I’d be lying if I said I look forward to reading any further BS trying to weasel this continued talking point forward. If you can just get past the two very first series….then I could maybe find it worth while to repeat my breakdown of the entire game efforts.

Lol....2nd and 11... lol

So when the ball is handed to Bark how many GUARANTEED yards should he get? I mean call the plays. Every time Bark gets a hand off he should run for______________________ fill in the blank. I'll wait

BTW if you really stick to your guns, those short yardage run plays were called by Moore not Siri right?

Hers a link to all the articles relating to DCs doubling the second and third WR along with TEs that don’t produce much receiving yardage:

Hope you enjoyed all that reading supporting your conclusion of why those guys faced single coverage in the SB.

The link here explains how Siri controlled the pass happy scripted plays during the season.

If you keep reading the link...you can read where Barkley choked

Keep reading further, you can see where the players had an issue with Siri in 2023.

Read further and you see where Belicheck was interviewed for the Eagles head coaching job

Read further you will see where Hurts called the Tennessee GM and told him not to pay AJ, so the Eagles could trade for him.

Keep reading and you see where Reddick wanted to stay in Philly at his current pay.

This link supports all of your theories.

BS…what a quality scripted gameplan does is expose the expected tendencies of your opponents weakness. That’s what is actually trying to be accomplished studying all that film of your opponent. Forming expectations…and how to attack those.

I mean…this is what coaches other than Siri do anyway.

Well....then you might want to rethink your " great O mind" theory about the guy in KC ..if you look at his scripts lately

Yes…Hurts was placed in a difficult situation…he did pickup a huge gain of like 9 yards. Which enabled going for it on fourth down. Hurts absolutely drilled AJ to complete that conversion. The flag denying us…had zero to do with Hurts performance.

Huge gain of 9 yards... lol

It is incredibly easy to say that with a straight face. Why was Saquon only able to get 4 yards? The answer is simple because bags sold out against the run and put eight in the box. Why was the screenplay to Barkley from Hertz unsuccessful? Because spas played in the box and a screenplay against eight in the box is going to be a heavy lift. Moore knew that and that’s why he designed that play into the script. So that he could see how Kansas City was deploying against screens. That would tell him how he was going to be able to use screens if at all later in the game.

Guys, I’m out for the next two hours approximately. See you later.

Obviously we won the SB after he faced consistent difficult situations. 2nd and 3rd and 11s he overcame just the first two drives. Still waiting for how anybody sticks by belief those downs were situations Hurts benefited from bad Saquan production previously. Or how they actually believe Spags was selling out expecting run with his playcall.

Matt is showing the plays from the game. How do you make posts that dispute the facts...and act like you are in the right?

Moore will have just as much final say on the scripted gameplanning in Philly for 2025season as 2024.

And here is the link supporting your post...

Great read

What was the 9 yard gain? A broken play where Hurts couldn’t find an open receiver in the play as designed by Moore.

Hurts deserves credit for his scramble and the outcome of that scramble was good, but it fell short of the goal by 2 yards, and the scramble doesn’t change the fact that the execution of the play as designed was a failure.

But failed plays are part of the attraction of the game. The whole purpose of the Defense is to create failed plays by the Offense.

The 9 yard gain was a quick 5 yard pass to Smith on 3rd and 8.... where Smith caught it and backpedalled to an easy first down...whistle blew without him even hitting the ground. A 5 yard hitch in the slot

It was a 5 yard hitch to Smith where they gave him space to backpedal for the first down.
