Speaking to grown men seen football for decades explaining : you see it’s a good idea to run the play that works the best. You see in this game…you actually try and gain yardage and score points. Sometimes coaches make so very difficult decisions…like taking the leap of giving the ball to the player absolutely killing every opponent making them look foolish. If all that is true, why were you arguing that the Super Bowl offensive game plan was horrible with Saquon only gaining an average of 2.8 yards per carry? You have even used the expression over and over again that "Saquon choked.”

Coach only was forced to give the ball to the guy making pro athletes look foolish and consistently busting the most super long TDs…because of this or that. If not for those reasons(fill in the blank with your statements No Mas, FL and MattyWill) you’d never chose to do that. Can’t even believe Siri made Saquan our starter.

Pages and pages of statements. But that was referring to you claiming a reasoning for us being forced to go with such a bad option all season. You combining differing posts and subjects. Pretty understandable. But this stems responding from your claim of Siri fearing risk is why he had to turn to giving Saquan the ball. Actually think your combing three different subjects all in one here.
May 13, 20251 yr I know it's not football related but Dallas just got the %1 NBA draft pick with a 1.8% chance of getting itSo lets see Luka goes to LA with Lebron ending his time in the leagueYou know the league needs a superstar in LAIn return Dallas gets the #1 pick in the draftCan anyone say the fix is in?

I pointed out football 101 is handing off to Barkley in our O last season was the most obvious easy decision any coaches ever would make. Not forced into by anything else. What better option has there ever been than choosing giving the ball to Saquan in our O last season ? Even your misguided attempts to respond you came up with how many players? Ever? A dozen players…ever in the history of football. That’s all you even tried to even make a case for. Even skipping disputing how correct each attempt actually is….even accepting there has been a dozen players producing more in their O in a season…that actually does nothing but prove my statement and point. You even so extensively reaching and trying just so hard only made my case for me. Choose giving the ball to Saquan in our O last season. No other reason needed than …he was historically producing fantastic option!!!!I never said we chose to hand the ball off to avoid risk. You can’t find a single comment where I said that.I have said over and over and over again that Lane Johnson and the O-Line went to Stoutland, and then they all went to Moore and Sirianni. Their message was clear. "we aren’t playing to our strengths. We need to play to our strengths more.” Moore and Sirianni agreed with their argument. The reduction of risk was a result of the change, not a reason for the change.
May 13, 20251 yr -You have overthinking or Hurts attempted bashing by insinuating our QB flawed so much forcing us to give Saquan the ball.-You have Siri most clear obvious fingerprints of complete control were the scripted gameplan each week. Which is absolutely damning…the talent on our O actually was the worst first quarter scoring in the entire league. Even bad coaches should be capable of producing more than that with so much talent.-You have sticking with Saquan throughout even though he choked. I never even said I was against it.

Glaringly showing how we actually relied on Hurts …not gifted made easier because of Barkley….overcoming results produced after starting by giving Barkley the ball.We didn’t rely on Hurts. We relied on all eleven offensive players.Series 1 Saquon ran for 4 yards, then using a play action fake to Saquon, Hurts threw an out pattern to Devonta who was covered one on one because Spags had loaded the box to stop Saquon. All eleven players contributed to that play with lead roles to Saquon, Hurts, Devonta, and the O-Line. Result = 1st down.Series 2 Saquon ran for 3 yards. Then Hurts pass in the backfield was sniffed out by the 8 in the box Chiefs (no surprise there, but that play was put into the initial set of scripted plays in order to assess how the Chiefs we’re deploying their Defense) Then on 3rd and long (11) Hurts was not able to find an open receiver and scrambled for 9 yards … broken play with a good result thanks to Hurts’ legs, but no 1st down. Then the 4th and 2 pass complete to Brown, with the fortuitous for Kansas City offensive pass interference. In all of that do you see Hurts overcoming the deficiencies in Saquon that you have criticized?

Gotta block…gotta catch…gotta carry defenders opening up room for Hurts to run. But…you’re just getting super technical. Like football player couldn’t make that spectacular play without that person that sewed the uniform. Those plays aren’t happening if our QB doesn’t make them. Technically a RB busting a 99 yard TD can’t do it without the QB handing it off first. Nobody is crediting the Wb for that play though. Let’s get real here.

Really not that difficult dude. The man showed you the exact stats from the game and your exact posts. Why can't you just let it go and admit you were wrong? It's right there with all the proof. The reduction of risk was a biproduct of the scheme change, not a reason for the scheme change.💯... this isn't any insult to Hurts. This is the formula that worked since he has been in the league. His strengths... he can run, he is accurate on short passes abs sideline routes when he throws on time.... and he is a natural at protecting the ball. The #1 job of the QB...ball security!! Idk if it was the contract, Brian Johnson as OC... then natural pass happy Moore at OC ..but whatever the reason, Hurts was passing too much and playing hero ball. Uncharacteristic of his game that we have seen .... 2023 and first 4 games of 2024t to me was the outlier. That's not his style. He can throw for 300 yards no problem..but it's not his usual thing to throw a lot of passes. He thrives in the style they played last year. And I think that style is a huge reason we had the #1 defense. Playing the Eagles... you go vs a ball control offense that if you overplay the run, you have to cover all those weapons. Then you have to play against the defense. That's a physical challenge...and a mental challenge having to play with so much discipline. When we just pass pass pass ... that takes the opponent off the hook. Hurts is difficult to defend in thus offense ... when you aren't expecting a pass play. Why do we care if he isn't perfect at everything. Siri usually has success week 1. Why is that... usually week 1 is having the team physically and mentally ready to play..not so much game plan. That's not an insult to his game planning....similar when we say Hurts plays well within this offense... it's not an insult. Howie is an excellent GMCam is an excellent center. Takes nothing away from Hurts when we say these things. Ham for some reason can't process this?
