This is softball cupcake easy argument for me to make. I’m actually the only one…by myself …on a football site…having to debate give the ball to the best option so long? Too easy. But he choked, as you keep saying. His yardage was immaterial,it was the game plan for them to focus stopping Bark(which they did, and left them vulnerable to other things1 hour ago, cunninghamtheman said:You guys belief of any coach would need plenty of other reasons to choose the most effective play. Coach only was forced to give the ball to the guy making pro athletes look foolish and consistently busting the most super long TDs…because of this or that. If not for those reasons(fill in the blank with your statements No Mas, FL and MattyWill) you’d never chose to do that. Can’t even believe Siri made Saquan our starter.I'm glad I am not the bearings on your spin machine 🤣

You can’t find a single comment where I said that.I have said over and over and over again that Lane Johnson and the O-Line went to Stoutland, and then they all went to Moore and Sirianni. Their message was clear. "we aren’t playing to our strengths. We need to play to our strengths more.” Moore and Sirianni agreed with their argument. The reduction of risk was a result of the change, not a reason for the change.I tried(and failed) multiple times to explain this, finally gave up as usual. To expedite, I just called it the KISS offense LOL

Which is absolutely damning…the talent on our O actually was the worst first quarter scoring in the entire league. Even bad coaches should be capable of producing more than that with so much talent. It is your OPINION about the fingerprints. There is no evidence of those fingerprints. Moore is the person who puts the scripted plays together, not Sirianni. All 32 teams use scripted plays, particularly in the first 15 plays of the game. Those scripts are designed to build confidence, exploit weaknesses, and gather information about how the defense will react to specific formations and plays. scoring points during those plays is secondary to intelligence gathering. It is a "pardon our dust” message that even though there is a lot of chaos, noise and dirt everywhere, something better is coming.2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:-You have sticking with Saquan throughout even though he choked. Do you deny you said it?Yes I pointed out how there almost is not other math can be made if we stick with Saquan the whole time never producing….it really just leaves being in rough situations to overcome. I didn’t criticize the decision of giving Saquan the ball in the SB….what I did was call Saquan’s performance for what it was…A Choke!

We kept going to Barkley even though he wasn’t predicting. That didn’t make anything easier for Hurts after that. Made it more challenging…contrary to your observation.

May 13, 20251 yr Sure I’ll explain what else was so glaringly obvious. We had a RB never been in big game situations before. He faced stacked boxes of Ds focusing in on stopping him the entire time in college and the pros. The one day he keeps missing the holes to hit decisively being the SB. Definition of choking!

Definition of choking! Here for all easy explanations. Guess when I get a minute need to go back and bring up the exact quote of your words….since that seems to have become a point of some contention from you and No Mas. Also not a real issue…just didn’t assume I was going g to be forced to bring up your own words quoted that I just from memory repeated. Two both can both exist
May 13, 20251 yr Hers a link to all the articles relating to DCs doubling the second and third WR along with TEs that don’t produce much receiving yardage:Hope you enjoyed all that reading supporting your conclusion of why those guys faced single coverage in the SB.

That’s what he’s done the whole rest of his coaching career.
May 13, 20251 yr Our rushing attack had been dominant the whole time Hurts has been our starter. Something opponents have struggled with for years. Didn’t take Barkley. In fact number 1 presents a clear issue by himself for the D to be forced to consider.

May 13, 20251 yr 3rd and 11 first series. 2nd and 11 second series after Saquan put us in that hole. Still waiting for reasoning of how that made things easier for Hurts. Also how it completely changes the situation from the otherwise usual triple team coverage Dotson normally faces. Trying to figure or his anybody keeps staring they believe Spags was completely selling out on those plays against the run on Barkley. I’d be lying if I said I look forward to reading any further BS trying to weasel this continued talking point forward. If you can just get past the two very first series….then I could maybe find it worth while to repeat my breakdown of the entire game efforts.

It was only that one time we faced the elite RB he was forced into single covering such a severe threat.
