Hurts is who he is, natural loner. All business, obviously rubbed some teammates the wrong way ... but again just like Reddick we ignore that stuff. Siri is a natural people person, much easier for him to connect with people. Many reports in the offseason of Hurts maturing and being more involved with his teammates. There is a balance between being driven and putting in all the individual work... and being a teammate that gets involved. There is more to being a leader than just work work work...gotta connect with people. That's where Barkley being here made things easier. A good example for Hurts. Similar to Pete Rose influence on Mike Schmidt years ago.

Also just totally slanting my own opinion about our HC’s pure on display several times very public immaturity. Just me that is out on some make believe limb on that whole situation. I’m sure inside the locker room it’s just completely opposite. All those O and D players that even pointed all this out about Hurts his rookie season before Siri even arrived. May 21, 20251 yr Wasn’t Siri overreacting yelling at Chiefs fans after winning. Wasn’t our HC listening to fans disagreeing with his playcalls he just had to debate right there during the game. Much less have been blocking all that crap out like needs to be occurring for any coach actually completely focused on performing his job in game moments. Be much more understandable if it was the young QB…so must have been Hurts doing all that.
May 21, 20251 yr Thing is also…the player leaks rumbling about our stale O weren’t all Hurts…If even any where during the 2023 season. 10-1 team all thinking the same thing I was staring right here. All before what happened exactly proved out their and my opinions.

Until you see he’s always been nothing but coachable…every time he receives the coaching that is. Siri supplied the don’t get hurt offseason…then the don’t throw interceptions coaching. What else could any young franchise QB look for to be coached? Clearly not in your mind ever to execute a real O. Or actually coached what to do. Nah…just needs a coach teaching fear instead of greatness. Why supply answers instead of don’t do bad?

Think it was actually a brilliant Rosie plan that was needed as the only way to lure Moore in. He had interviewed Moore to be HC after years studying him closely as a division rival. Rosie has identified the obvious going on. Siri scheme was terrible. Only prayer forward for him was getting a guy to upgrade him towards an actual legit O.
May 21, 20251 yr Rosie yelled to every microphone he could find Siri was only CEO coach. Moore would have complete control over the O the same as Fangio the D. I’ve broken down in complete detail just how many ways that wasn’t the case. Not sure how anybody didn’t notice Siri interference so massively.
May 21, 20251 yr I mean it started from the beggining. Moore wasn’t running his O. He had to keep what Siri called the good that had worked. Had to keep terminologies. Then I noticed starting week 2 Siri pulling Moore’s new created O back.
