At least embrace the brilliance by Rosie of his scheme …that worked. Hopefully was enough to pay off longer term.

Or you guys version. Siri is the best because look at his record and accomplishments.

Siri 2021 rookie season he was a disaster. Or you spin he did great delegating to let another coach carry him. Siri performing his job like a trainwreck at 2-5 he just got out of the way and Steichen takes those same guys that were stinking with Siri and immediately had them get hot playing good ball.

But got wins and made the playoffs. Siri resume building greatest coaching ever according to you fans. Instead of any reasonable conclusion was Siri was way in over his head performing much worse at levels so bad…he was forced to get out of the way because no coach would survive what he had going on.

2021—terrible coaching by Siri —fire-able.

Different situation with Pedey actually being an O mind versus…the guy just got paid

Pederson (his respectful name, not your pejorative) had a very different concept of what a Head Coach was supposed to do. He saw himself as much more of a Chief Operating Officer rather than Chief Executive Officer.

A Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive who leads a company’s operations and translates the CEO’s vision into reality.

Sirianni definitely sees himself as a visionary. Pederson is more humble and sees his role much more as a person who makes reality happen.

2022 not sure really where all to praise Siri about achievements. But hey he clearly had delegated Steichen to run the O and Gannon the D as the plan the whole time that season. Reached the SB.

So even not get specific and detailed and just give him good job coaching in 2022.

You’re a moron…ESPN is a source

No ESPN like the New York Times or Truth Social is a conduit. The source is the author(s).

Date of their article?

It was a mirage because all they were doing was tooling forward from what Steichen had done with zero additions. No self scouting or adaptations. What did the source say "Hurts understood the lack of X and O knowledge Siri possessed” something like that. It wasn’t just Hurts though. Leaked rumblings from several O players even when the team was 10-1.

That is your personal opinion. Lots of other people have different opinions.

2023 10-1 team showed so obviously they just were rolling forward with a limited even version from Steichen success. Really mostly our strong competitive pure will powering our team to victory each week refusing to lose overcoming the really poor coaching. Total worst collapse possible. 10 wins early ended in what was it again? Like 1-5 finish with not even any signs of being competitive against the weakest playoff team. You guys applaud and puff your chest out about Siri got those wins…made the playoffs. Greatest coach ever.

TERRIBLE COACHING!!! Fire-able

Suppose ABC, Fox, CNN, NBC…..none are sources either if they also are a network…good lord

They, like a library are channels for the dissemination of information.

ESPN spoke with several sources who detailed a prolonged strain between Hurts and Sirianni during the 2023 campaign

Didn’t I post this quote from the article?

You did, and since you have copied and pasted that information from the article, you clearly have a link. Please post that link.

Correct... Hurts needed to mature. Players were clearly on Siri’s side. I'm sure a lot had to do with his long time family friend who just wasn't ready to be a coordinator at this level.

You can tell the influence of Lurie last offseason...nipping in the bud before Hurts turned into another Wentz.

That is part of the culture problem Sirianni knew he had to address.

2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

No…for you it’s only Hurts fault for everything Siri has lacked.

It isn’t binary. There is no on-off switch for culture issues or personal maturity. Both are evolutionary.

Pretty sure everybody everywhere saw Siri arguing with his own fans during the game

And why is that important? How does it win or lose games? How does it win or lose championships?

You are making a mountain out of a molehill.

2024 terrible coaching to start. Siri blew the ATl week two game. I mean sure…Saquan catches the easy pass it all works out icing the game. But that wasn’t the call. Run the ball. Siri had set everything up seeming to understand the situation leading right up to that bad play all of his. Run the ball. We’re going for it running the ball on fourth down also. Both those decisions should have already been made. All his moves leading right into that were good and exactly what was needed …but to run the ball on 3rd…with complete understanding already…running it going for it on fourth down. Hard to believe ATL stops us from icing the game just handing it off. 3rd down run probably even would have converted the first down icing it. Running it twice to get those three yards was near unstoppable for ATL. Game over right there. But even if somehow ATL did stop us rushing for those three yards on both downs…never one…not kicking…running the ball third and fourth downs. It would have killed most of the clock. Left them scrambling. All ATL would have been even trying to do was get in field goal range to tie. Instead? Saquan drop. Kick the field goal. Forcing them to TD or lose. Our whole team was shellshocked Saquan dropped that catch. D just jaw dropped came on the field and got toasted. Blink of an eye…went from icing the victory to…D in complete disbelief stud Saquan dropped as easy a catch as there gets.

I’m convinced the CEO part was made up scam at this point. Think it was actually a brilliant Rosie plan that was needed as the only way to lure Moore in. He had interviewed Moore to be HC after years studying him closely as a division rival. Rosie has identified the obvious going on. Siri scheme was terrible. Only prayer forward for him was getting a guy to upgrade him towards an actual legit O.

Spin and conjecture

Whole thing setup by Siri forced ATL to use all their TOs. He was calling it just right. Called just right with understanding going to run the ball. Clock couldn’t be stopped anymore…exactly that run play…if it ever happened.

But let’s give Siri 2024 great coaching job winning the SB 2024.

That’s 2 terrible seasons and 2 good to great seasons. None of this look at how he made the playoffs and the wins in 2021 and 2023 he’s the greatest. Those were you get fired HC performances. Applaud the 2022 and 2024 Siri coaching. That at least is understandably arguable and defensible.

2-2 Siri HC seasons 2 plus being SB —-2 terrible being deserved to be fired

This look at his record of 10 wins early resulting in the worst collapse coaching and his team clearly talented enough to win 11 games wasn’t even competitive against the Bucs in the postseason. Wins, playoffs….nothing but fire-able coaching performance

But let’s flash his overall record and he’s always made the playoffs greatest coach ever some more. That’s not completely spinning agenda based at all…,nah

You are looking through a glass darkly. As the CEO Sirianni knew he had a culture problem. CEOs don’t delegate culture problems. He knew he had to "own” that. So I suspect no one forced anything. He stated clearly and unequivocally that his undivided attention needed to be on the culture issue , and that the replacement for Johnson needed to have his undivided attention on the Offense.

I also suspect that Sirianni was the person who decided Johnson couldn’t handle that load, which resulted in Johnson being let go.

I’m just looking at the whole darn glass….that’s all I’m doing different…reality

Pure football decision making. I mean Siri seemed to even exactly know it himself. Forced them to use all their TOS. Then exactly the moment of truth where they had no more TOs and the clock couldn’t be stopped? He got cute. Play was there admittedly. But talk about managing risk. They weren’t stopping us icing the game running. Had to realize we’re always going for it on fourth down though. Never kicking a field goal.

I’m exactly specifically laying out my whole case of why he got cute and screwed it all up. Exactly every scenario of you are committed to running the ball on third AND fourth down. If he was dumb and screwed up exactly how he set everything up by forcing them to use all their TOs? That would have been a more understandable screw up actually. But he was doing everything exactly right. Exactly setting up what had to be done right then.

First…I don’t believe ATL could have stopped us from icing the game running the ball. Could anybody all season really? Heck they weren’t even right then. But I even laid out if they against all odds even did stop us. They would have been playing for a tie only. No TOs. Like 1 minute only left. Pretty much worst case would have been OT. Which was very unlikely they got there at all.
