Yeah…your obviously never going to understand the so very clear correlation…I tried for your benefit..oh well

You did indicate your opinion about the possible correlation, but the historical numbers say something different about that possible correlation. You say the correlation is clear. The numbers say the correlation is murky.

Lurie had no choice….ohhh doesn’t matter…no matter how plain I lay out how we just had all this occur concerning our franchise you don’t remember just a few seasons back…and I will never get across to you what happened just a few seasons ago.

Your imagination is running away with you again. In the world of Logical Fallacies you are acting out Affirm the Consequent

I liked and agree with Lurie describing Siri’s coaching style as authentic. Probably his strength.

The numbers? About Pedey wanting to promote his right hand man Taylor versus Siri promoting his right hand man Patullo? Only numbers really involved were the ones I specially stated differentiated everything. Siri next year after winning the SB got his way by having the power. Pedey just a couple of years later…didn’t.

Do you have a link to the quote? Or is it a figment of your imagination?

Siri just sitting at a table in a banquet hall fielding a bunch of questions…while it sounds like the other 31 HCs doing the same around him.

Just go out and educate yourself

YouTube…2023 Eagles any games at the end especially playoff game. Our 10-1 team Collapsed. You already forget 2023 too?

The losses had much less to do with X’s and O’s, and much more to do with culture.

Even during the 10-1 start the margins of victory were razor thin. 5,6,14,3(in OT),9,-6,14,7,5,4,3(in OT) … 62 points in total, and then the schedule gauntlet burst the bubble. Compare that to the first eleven games of 2024. 5,-1,3,-17,4,25,20,5,28,8,17 … 91 points in total.

Bottom-line lots and lots of people saw the 10-1 as the mirage that it was. The Eagles didn’t have the culture needed to keep it going.

Seems like it was designed all along for Siri anyway. Trick an OC to create a scheme for him along with being capable of teaching O to those players.

Spin and conjecture.

Had Schwartz which is good…but no Fangio

It was a mirage because all they were doing was tooling forward from what Steichen had done with zero additions. No self scouting or adaptations. What did the source say "Hurts understood the lack of X and O knowledge Siri possessed” something like that. It wasn’t just Hurts though. Leaked rumblings from several O players even when the team was 10-1.

Things were off, including between the head coach and quarterback. ESPN spoke with several sources who detailed a prolonged strain between Hurts and Sirianni during the 2023 campaign, with one source with direct knowledge of the dynamic describing the relationship as "fractured" and unhealthy last season. At the root of the divide: a disconnect in offensive visions, with what a team source described as a lack of full respect for Sirianni's X's and O's chops.

Source?

Only ones that seemed to realize it were our O players, myself, Lurie and Rosie.

Says right there in your quote ESPN. At least read before you make a uniformed response.

Even when we were 10-1, everyone was walking around like their dog died," a team source said.

As I said above, the 10-1 was a mirage. Glad we agree.

What writer? When? ESPN is not a source. It is a network.

  • Tim McManus

  • Jeremy Fowler

Suppose ABC, Fox, CNN, NBC…..none are sources either if they also are a network…good lord

Didn’t I post this quote from the article?

But I’m sure all these lesser people would just pop their names out about their leader QB and their HC of the organization.. sure man…how could that harm anybody actually any part of the Eagles organization?

What have you noticed about Nick being open-minded to change up the offense like he has? What does that say about him?

"Um," he said, followed by a pause and a short closed-mouth laugh. "I mean, that's a great question. I don't know that I know the answer to it."

Hurts matured a lot, you can see the influence Barkley had on him.

52 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Yeah…Siri was so terrible they forced Moore on him which worked out all in all. So he gets his promotion if Patullo…Pedey didn’t get Taylor.

Yeah..I forgot.... Siri only does bad things....every hire that was good wasn't his doing. Even though multiple sources including right from both Siri and Lurie said Moore was Siri’s first choice.

Correct... Hurts needed to mature. Players were clearly on Siri’s side. I'm sure a lot had to do with his long time family friend who just wasn't ready to be a coordinator at this level.

You can tell the influence of Lurie last offseason...nipping in the bud before Hurts turned into another Wentz.
