Just seems that way to people judging Siri glossing over everything just by record. Wins…made the playoffs in 2023….those wins actually proving how much he is to blame. Clearly had a team capable of winning. But playoffs come and they weren’t capable of winning versus 3 win Card team. 11 wins..made the playoffs…the collapse from his inability to self scout and added anything seeing it coming was why. Then couldn’t provide and answers during or after. Bucs weren’t even really playoff worthy opponent. Wiped the floor with Siri. 2022…2024 great job. Wins..playoffs SB…yes…how much due to him I could dig into. But…the other two seasons fire-able coaching performance. With him being a main reason as the problem.Let’s say we fire Sirianni after 2023, then we hire a new head coach who needs a year to get his feet wet. Your guy, whoever that is. 2024 is him feeling out the position, we go 11-6 and just barely lose in the divisional round to the Lions, but the future looks bright.Would you say this is the preferable timeline?
May 24, 20251 yr If you played D..zone meant…run to your spot. Defenders called to READ…..didn’t wait reading…they just ran there. These are paid pro defenders. How often did you see defenders getting just burned?
May 24, 20251 yr Not trying to be a d1ck. Just trying to get us all agreeing to have a starting point we’re working from here. Playaction and Hot routes…mind blowing appearance the fourth season finally introduced. Most dominant rushing team every year never thought up running Playaction. Three years…not first OTA ever.

Moore created a new scheme. Had to combine Siri with his own maintaining Siri terminology. My vote is that’s more work than just coming in running a quality scheme the O coach possesses. Created a new O…then had to install it. Tweak things after first time ever facing real games. Seems like O coach just installing his well developed O would be easier and tested.

Really inclined to conclude the opposite. Siri’s brilliance was run Barkley. Which O coach can’t do that…or feet wet to run outside Zone left…outside zone right…Brotherly Shove. I believe we got setback tweaking the newly created O combination. Bye week reworking. Instead proven scheme just keep installing and perfecting. Pretty easy making the case actually would have been ahead of where we were.
May 24, 20251 yr New coach could easily accomplish being the worst first quarter scoring. So let’s advantage new coach…feet wet..actually scripts plays our uber talented O scores pretty close to ..at all.
May 24, 20251 yr Heck I think he’d first quarter score at least middle of the pack. As talented as anybody. Just decent those guys probably produce top ten.

May 24, 20251 yr Really circle Browns Siri battling through facing being fired was key moment. Our guys rallied and galvanized with Siri fighting. Whole team came together. Advantage Siri over new guy.

We had a tougher schedule early, easier schedule late. There was about a 3 year period where the Eagles didn't beat a team that finished with 9 wins or more, who had their starting QB play. I was on Buffalo Halloween weekend 2019 when they beat Josh Allen and the Bills, I believe it wasn't until week 2 of 2022 when they beat Cousins ... between those games every win was vs a below .500 team or a backup QB. So my take....2021... beat all the teams we should have, lost to all the good teams.2022...easiest schedule by far of any Eagles team in my lifetime... and you don’t remember any quality win that year. Least memorable of the Superbowl seasons.2023...won all the easy games early, peaked during that Dallas, KC, Buffalo stretch....Injuries to Cox and Williams forced Carter and Davis to play too many snaps and both were done after Buffalo. 2 revenge games vs SF and Dallas who both came off of Thursday games with 3 extra days rest...the bubble burst. Team was out of gas and roster wasn't deep enough yet.2024...best offseason ever. Filled all the holes on the roster while the young guys developed. Got NFL level coordinators and dominated once they got healthy after the bye. No counting faces or using complicated terms. The uniform doesn't win, the players in them do. Not difficult to see the difference in the rosters the last few years.

In 2021 the approach was the same throughout the season, and the appearance of there being differences between 2-5 and 7-3 is only due to the opponents in the first seven games being much harder and the opponents in the last ten games being much easier.

But immediately after Moore took the job…Siri walked things back first thing in his own presser. He stated how ..well…we are keeping in everything that’s been working well. He also mentioned how Patullo teaming was crucial so he wasn’t surrounded by Moore’s guys. Think it always Moore that explained how Siri wanted him to keep the terminology be easier for the players all mostly been running it for years now. Moore and Patullo got together all summer creating it all. See it’s a good excuse…for the players benefit…but really suspecting all along just using Moore building Siri’s playbook and scheme. Actually Siri best as CEO. Could easily call it Patullo’s O. So that’s the real reasoning I’m just deducting from nothing concrete. Siri whether fan boys want to acknowledge it or not wasn’t guaranteed to be here longer than one more season of 2024. 2023…let’s just say a zillion coaches been fired for less. Moore basically the best only real option. Not a great playcaller…game planner..not thinking he’s ready for all the HC duties either. But he fit fantastic as the teacher our O needed and hard worker that does possess plenty of knowledge. Create/build the scheme adding fairly ideal ingredients his playbook and scheme was strongest with and Siri’s was weakest. Hurts taking over read, blocking, audible …running the O first time. Moore’s strengths exactly what was needed here. Real low chance Moore ever here more than just the one season. Things go bad all out. Go good likely promoted to his own team. Also just wasn’t taking this job under the actual circumstances that occurred. He took it told he was running his O in control. Once hired..not much he could do. So right off told well keeping what’s been working…and not running your O afterall. But seemed like Moore running the O all TC and PS. Week one…Moore running the O. Week 2…noticed Siri something…slightly signs of tiny cutting back from Moore. Week 3 even more signs less Moore total control. Week 4? Wasn’t that Bucs 90 degree injured Eagles never unbuckled from the plane. So hard to say that disaster.

May 25, 20251 yr So then hit the bye. Oline had a couple injuries that had shuffling been going on. So Oline organizes and tells Siri they want to attack and run block. Plenty of reasons. But one is run blocking easy. Like job responsibilities wise. Pass blocking more complicated. Squeaky fresh new O remember. So possibly everything just design wise wasn’t perfected with the playbook. It obviously wasn’t… felt bye they had the sampling under live real game fire. So four games of film to hash out what worked..what didn’t…where and how to tweak what. Remembering everything can’t be installed in one TC. So week 5,6…who all knows exactly? Adjusted plays fixing things and installing additional plays not done in TC. Easily could assume working on installing and maximizing plays specific for our team…up until the breakout game. Hurts gets injured…so not sure how much further things got after that.
May 25, 20251 yr Gotta understand decent O coach isn’t taking the job under Siri. Him as CEO …them running the O comparable to Fangio does the D they would.

Hurts wouldn’t have been questioning and frustrated with Siri if it was Johnson running the O. Leaks coming out locker room plenty in 2023 that weren’t Hurts. AJ, Smitty I almost guarantee were frustrated. Clearly defined role Siri was returning in 2024 to do first announcement we found out Siri stayed. Telling you I totally figured out was all a great Rosie planned scheme. He identified what Siri lacked and needed. Also realized Moore isn’t taking OC job under Siri running the O. Made clear new coach was running the O.

May 25, 20251 yr Siri walks back things stating..we are keeping the plays been working. Players been in play wording for three years…so let’s just keep them with what they know. But Moore it’s your O running things. Take his right hand man Patullo pass coordinator and you guys figure it out. All TC Moore running the O. I noticed week 2 Siri interference. But without question the bye week Siri took over. His neck on the line…self preservation. Was not a good start…that coming on the heels of total disaster end 2023. Lose to the Browns he’s toast. 2-3 start and c’mon…gotta beat the Browns…any which way…but after very shaky performances …gotta beat the Browns. Collapse..blown out by worst playoff team …into 2-2 start Siri messed some during. Blown out Bucs again(understandably much more though). Shouldn’t lose to the Browns any which way. Bug combining end and beggining a of two season stretch? You can’t lose to the Browns. Forget the collapse and playoff loss record by itself would be. Like 1-6 then 2-2. 3-8 stretch going for Siri. 3-9..after Browns beating you? Even least knee jerk reacting owner Lurie making the move. Moore promoted to interim HC. So Siri running the O Browns game.

If not stripped..he lost it…what hr was doing..he no longer would be doing…taken away? Allowed to remain as HC accepting demotion.

May 25, 20251 yr Whichever version sounds best of horrible collapse and playoff game…shakiest ground not fired ..but coming back..keeping the job in 2024 as long as things look much improved. Don’t mess up coaching 2-2 and lose to the Browns. Real tough to not fire captain of the collapse ship. Struggling to think of a returning coach did anything worse. Credit to Rosie and Lurie there. But confidence wasn’t high.our leader didn’t want Siri’s return. Fans united calling for Siri’s head. Siri talked smack with our home fans. HC shouldn’t be doing that. Smack talking away…shouldn’t…but home…block it out and do your job. Brought kids to post game shielding things.
