OMG, a rookie, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!! CALL HENNY PENNY!!!! Most RB's are around 200 pounds?? This is worth an in depth plunge into week 14 ? 🤣 Just relentless dumbassery. Worry about week 1-5

Yep…this is how I’m seeing things in this tough matchup. Run D has to be ready to show up big time…or they’ll get run over.

Week 13

Chicago Bears have Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze, Luther Burden, and Colston Loveland, DeAndre Swift along with DJ Moore.

I’m thinking Ben Johnson just might be able to turn the key on these guys.

Bears D I’m not believing in this season however. They got Grady Jarrett which makes things tough up front for us though.

We held Harris to 14 yards what can he teach the rookie? LOL

Not the most productive athletes are always the best coaches. Harris has been no scat back though. Definitely believe he’s aware of some good vet physical techniques.

Techniques…leverages…ball security…

This is an Eagles page. You must be lost talking about every team BUT the Iggles. No one cares about the Chargers RB draft pick here.

Missing out….this kid looks worth the price of admission.

I leaned Jeanty….but really believe both very likely to light things up.

Does Ben Johnson derive any blueprints after we face the Lions just two games before this matchup.

After paying him huge money already signing him originally….had to give him a big raise new contract right along with Smitty inking his new deal.

And that is meaningful because?

Lions have been right there as a top favorite in the NFC for the last few seasons. I like that they have to come to The Linc.

For a draft guy….you missed what they did in the draft also. RB Omarion Hampton over 200 pounds. Believe they brought in Najee as a vet presence who could teach that kid some tricks. Adjustments to the NFL perhaps…with a bruising rushing style.

Hampton will get to know Davis, Carter, and Robinson really well. Baun too.

If Caleb is going to do any meaningful damage, it will be with his legs like Daniels. Fangio’s 4-2-5 will smother the receivers, while Davis, Carter, Robinson clog the middle and Smith, Hunt box the edges. It will be a Martha and the Vandellas game … "Nowhere to run to baby. Nowhere to hide.”

I agree wholeheartedly. Detroit’s loss will be Chicago’s gain. Johnson has addressed the Trenches.

Week 10 after the bye we start with those Packers…at Lambeau…. Monday Night. We obviously are very aware of this matchup. They have gained that experience on us also…

The experience they gained was fools gold. Week One in Brazil was against a very different team than either the SB LIX team or the current team. Their Wild Card game was against a Hurts who was knocking off the rust of his injury stint on the sidelines.

They will get much more from film study of the Eagles’ first eight games of 2025 than they will from their two 2024-5 losses to the Eagles.

I know we have a plethora of slot guys to work through, but another one to think about is Tyler Boyd. A homer (family lives near Pittsburgh I believe). Along with Dotson, we could cover the outside if anything happened to AJ or Smitty. Just a little CYA play. Not a huge fan of Marshall, Maybe he can change my mind

Seeing as you are from NC you may not understand Pennsylvania, but let me help you with something. There is no love between the east side and west side of the state. A person who grows up near Pittsburgh has no affection for Philadelphia, and the converse is true. Basically, the state is split pretty much in two, with Harrisburg as the line of demarcation, though there is some fans of Baltimore in the Lancaster area.

Point being, if you interview a guy who grew up in or around Pittsburgh and ask them about 'going home', they would only consider Pittsburgh that home, not Philadelphia. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are separated by a 6 hour drive, and are dramatically different cities culturally. No Pittsburgh native that I have ever heard of got excited to come 'home' to Philadelphia.

Thanks for that info. I lived in Ohio, so I should have guessed(state divided by the Browns and Bengals) and FL(Miami.Bucs.Jags) I SHOULD have assumed it worked the same there. Thanks for the reminder. My late mother and were contra fans in FL. I bleed green, she was from Altoons(GRHS). But for athletes home is where the paycheck gets cashed LOL

Looking good. Nice solid quick moves. He's going to rip teams new ones alongside Baun then you have DeJean spying the QB and Q island. We're going to be very difficult the throw on, maybe even moreso than last year and I suspect the new kids on the block a few years ago are going to blossom in the run game. Extremely hard as we force teams to pick their poison. I still say the QB goes through Philly, at least out 1/2 of it. I would not sleep on Denver if I was on the other side of the bracket. Going to be a superb year to watch football

It's time for the writers to give Hurts his due. This was the bar I hope he could achieve. After the change in the offense last year he became a whole new QB. He matured so much. Stopped the "Panic" and learned it's OK to throw a ball away instead of forcing the issue. I feel this was a big step for him. His game is confident, he doesn't get rattled anymore, his passes got more accurate. There were no more "bonehead plays. Everything we have harped on he got done. We understand we're not going to see 65 yard bombs, but for this team 50 yarders will do just fine. This team is going to be a force for years to come. With the league parity try by the NFL it was assumed there would be no more "dynasties", but seriously we could have one in the making. The "weak NFCE" is becoming tough and good again. The Wuss are coming up nicely, even the Gnats are starting to piece things together and Dullaz is Dullaz. The rivalries are renewing and it's going to be a blast for fans. We still have the best fan base in the NFL

Now compare the OL and RBs, time to throw, etc. These are very cherry picked stats. And this isn't a Hurts' hater post. It's a Hurts' realist/Burrow realist post. Burrow has never had the protection that an NFL QB should have when expected to win. That OL is swiss cheese. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the starting 5 for the Bengals would actually have had a hard time even making the team for the Eagles, that's how deep this OL has been during Hurts' tenure.

And there's just no comparison between Joe Mixon and Saquan Barkley. One is a very good RB, the other is a generational RB.

Bengals improved their OLine. Comparison you Cherry picked to skip here was Burrow has the best WR …probably ever …propping up his production. Had him in college and the pros….so afforded comfort levels are impossible to measure at this point. Ja’Marr Chase is the best! Totally volunteer Burdow used the best in Chase along with arguably second best in Jefferson to break all collegiate records won that Heisman denying Hurts. Not many players keep Hurts from winning the Heisman that season. Burrow was just on that super team…along with super coaching.

Then get into Higgins as his number two WR. Had Boyd there also as number three…or 2A.
