But Siri wasn’t caught coming out of TC week one looking predictable. He wasn’t figured out to have such weak variance on audible options week two. These weaknesses weren’t just exposed in a game. Not even back to back games from the blueprint being laid out there. Siri just actually kept doing the same things after being so exposed in 2023. Hurts getting killed taking huge shot after huge shot….no doubts cobwebbed and concussed…or let’s just say far from most clear thinking. Siri kept calling long developing pass plays. Exposed his answer audible was screen pass. Not one game…not two. The entire rest of the 2023 season. Frankly until eternity. He had no answers.I don’t think I’m some O genius by any standards. But the situation under Siri probably almost made me come off acting like I was. Just because these answers and stuff was just so very basic. No football genius needed….easy.
July 1, 2025Jul 1 Pros expose everybody pretty much at one time or another. Those that can’t adapt die. Like Mike Vick. As soon as he was exposed it was over. No coaching really covering it giving that.

I’d be very focused on my career legacy. Want to go down as one of the all time greats and be an elite level HOF. You can see plenty if top level guys think this way. Like AJ…you can tell his legacy means so much to him.No I got all the individual honors focus from your quote. Career legacy is your obsession. If you asked AJ which is more important, personal stats or winning a Lombardi, or multiple Lombardi’s, which do you believe he would choose?

Why is his won-lost record the 4th best in NFL history … on a par with Vince Lombardi and John Madden, and better than Bill Bellichik and Andy Reid? When the clock reaches 0:00 and your team has more points than the other team, you obviously had answers.

This kid was ranked higher than LaPorta who was also in this draft as was Dalton Kincaid. It was an excellent TE class and he was ranked #2. I wouldn't let this kid get by me if I had a chance to grab him.He needs to improve as a receiver.

He is a force as a blocker, but not as a receiver so far.

If you mean replace in the 2026 season, probably only Goedert, and unfortunately 2026 looks like a weak TE class. However, drafting a player in 2026 to be a 2027 replacement, or even a 2028 replacement, that is how Howie drafts. He could also flip one of the 3rds for a 2027 2nd, as was done with pick 81 in 2004.

LaPorta was so obvious to me as quality TE. It’s rankings screwing up stuff like that you just love to take advantage of.Even though nominally LaPorta is a TE, he functionally is a big bodied WR … like Johnny Wilson was for the 2024 Eagles.

Carter will seem to have huge numbers, but then in reality it won't seem so bad... watch how it's done in a year or so.I agree, and the player sets the value. The Barkley contract is a good example. Howie and Lurie did not overpay him when he was a FA. He got the value he wanted. Fast forward 12 months and since he outperformed his contract value, they gave him a bump to reflect the actual value received.

Alot of our BU's could start somewhere else LOLI agree there aren’t any major flaws. And Howie is very clearly committed to youth. The only way that works is to bank draft picks. So, I expect he will use the days before the 53-man roster cut down to trade players for 2027 draft picks. Going into each Draft with 12 or more picks gives him plenty of ammo to keep getting young.Seven picks plus two to three Comp Picks each year, plus two to three picks from trades gets him to 12.

As a pass catcher Calcaterra is every bit as good as Goedert. He isn’t the all around TE that Goedert is, with inline blocking being a big deficiency.Plus he isn’t a UFA after this season, so contractually he wasn’t any more certain than Goedert.

Goedert has trouble staying on the field all year. Most thought Goedert would be turned loose not signed for 3 years

Trade that pick for a 2027 1st plus a pick swap that nets a 2nd Round pick in 2026.Of course player developments and injuries can cause big changes in that plan.
