AJ wanted to be a champion no doubts. But he talks plenty about his real knowledge about athletes that have reached elite next level plateaus.

You haven’t answered the question. Which do you believe is more important to him, Lombardis or his personal stats?

RT

They added three RT prospects in this Draft. Are you saying they should scrap the development of Hilton, Williams, and Pierce before that development has begun?

How long did it take Mailata to develop? How has that worked out?

I’m not against anyone improving the room. Not giving up a third for a long shot prayer on it being Washington however. Like I said…look at all these guys we have on the correct TE room. We’ve stacked depth and options. I’m of the belief we find one…possibly even two DitR TE here.

You could have just originally went here instead of being obnoxious about it. Saved a lot of wasted time .... not so much yours, but mine in reading pages of this lame topic. A simple... sounds like an option, I wouldn't give up a 3rd for him though...end of story. Try it some time. But I guess any chance you have to talk about your resume, you need to take it. But not narcassistic at all.

It's amazing what he did. So the question is,since we signed so many to extensions WHO do you use your round 1 pick on? I mean who do you replace?.it's like we could skip and entire years draft

You use the pick on the BPA.

I agree there aren’t any major flaws. And Howie is very clearly committed to youth. The only way that works is to bank draft picks. So, I expect he will use the days before the 53-man roster cut down to trade players for 2027 draft picks. Going into each Draft with 12 or more picks gives him plenty of ammo to keep getting young.

Seven picks plus two to three Comp Picks each year, plus two to three picks from trades gets him to 12.

Every year we fall in love with every obscure late round or UDFA pick.... I don't anticipate Howie stacking up 2027 picks... I think players will be cut, with some back on the PS. I don't think the league covets all our players from 55-75 that our currently on our roster. I'm not going to get carried away here. I'm sure there will be moves, but I don't see...where we selll a bunch of players for 2027 draft picks. Be nice to get one though.

Incase anyone was wondering... nothing has changed

Howie is ok

Siri sucks

Hurts is perfect

Think he needs both. Having grabbed a ring already….think he’d likely really would like to stack up some huge stats. Not something he’s really been able to accomplish at levels…he believes he’s capable of.

He already has the stats. 6 seasons with close to 1,200 yards per season, 16 YPC, 49 TDs.

3 more seasons at that rate puts him over 10,000 yards, 80 TDS plus or minus, 16 YPC. That is HOF worthy. Not a slam dunk, but add 3 SB wins and he is a lock. A 10% improvement on his stats isn’t going to move the needle the way two more Lombardis will. So he doesn’t need better stats than he has already produced. He doesn’t need more Lombardis … and the reputation as a team-first player that comes with it.

That need just might be next season.

Maybe you could work on improving your own resume to fall back on a bit.

Why?

The key word in your statement is "might.” If you mother had testicles she might be your father.

Where have you seen a resume on the EMB? Not a single one. FWIW, you yourself haven’t posted a resume.

He’s been on a run first team his entire career. In his mind I’m feeling confident he feels like he hasn’t even scratched the surface of what he’s capable of….stats wise.

Ask No Mas…he’s the one that said it.

And I’m saying he has made it abundantly clear that team accomplishments are much more important to him that individual accomplishments. Where have you seen AJ say that he is more important than the team?

He said nothing about his resume. Reading is fundamental.

How many more seasons you expecting Lane to play? 1? Possibly 2?

Between 3 and 5.

I expect Hinton and Williams to follow a modified version of the Mailata development trajectory.

2025 they will both be on the 53-man roster, and inactive all 17 games. It will be a red shirt year in Stoutland U unlearning bad habits, learning Stoutland skills and habits, and getting much stronger and more athletic.

2026 they will both be ready to be the swing Tackle backing up both Lane and Jordan.

2027 they will both be ready, like Jordan was to step in as Starter if needed. However, I expect both Lane and Jordan will be the starters in 2027.

Pierce is likely to be on the Practice Squad in 2026, and be depth in both 2027 and 2028.

And Hurts is not a pocket type "air Coryelle" passer, so one of them is on the wrong team I guess
