Key being team needs. That favors a short yardage RB that can block…to compliment the RB room. Kind of harsh on Saquan not being his strength in short yardage TD punching it in. Would prefer to give Saquan less blocking snaps to increase his durability/effectiveness…especially just want him as fresh as possible at the end. Take a little load off just feels wise.

What's playing out(from what I read) is that MJ has turned a few heads. We like Avery for return duty, also from what I am reading. I said before we're going to have to cut some very quality rookies

I will be anxious to see how this plays out in pre season. We hung onto Nichols for quite awhile. I'm not certain we have that luxury at RB unless you plan on losing BVS. he will take a roster spot somewhere. Just a question of where if we keep him on

Seems to me Cooks looks good for us also. Dotson sticks. Maybe we carry 1 less WR and 1 more RB this year. I think ASmith hits the bricks. Maybe Wilson stays

Let all TC and PS play out for guys to earn whatever happens. I’m not totally sold on who’s best after our top three RBs. So I need to see which other RB shows the best…unproven…which guy EARNs whatever job

Feels likely we keep on some FB option. If you believe like I do that we are running the same O ..instead of each OC under Siri has been completely running their own separate O.

I don't see Patulllo changing what worked last year. He has a few new toys to play with, but just small things, maybe a few more pass plays for Hurts

He worked hand in hand with Moore to create our O last season….been a part of the previous few seasons also…so he’s earned some ownership of all that.

Playcalling is different than who’s O scheme we’re running. Patullo knows Siri and will do what Siri desires. I agree Siri a better fit for CEO role without hands on…but don’t believe that’s what he’s been doing at all.

BVS…then when he got injured they brought in a FB and he dressed. Feels like Siri is placing higher value on FB than majority do. Clearly he loves blockers…OZ the blocking WR…Stoll the blocking TE…be a different wrinkle to throw at people instead of two TE packages.

Which is what could make it work. Zig while everybody else zags. Means opponents aren’t seeing and experiencing as much how to defend against that personnel. Physical Niners have been utilizing a FB(haha had to throw that in there just for No Mas). We clearly want to be physically wearing on opponents each game. Fits that mindset. Seems like there is more going on with FB package than we’ve witnessed so far…can’t say I’ve got all the answers…just basing from what Siri appears to be up to. Feels like he’s seeing a need or matchup benefit. Heck if nothing else it’s more opponents have to prepare for. I’m totally in favor of that.

The Saints situation was a trainwreck job to take. What HC takes that job? Carr retiring and a few things already made things not quite as terrible for them. But really kind of odd Moore took that job instead of staying with a SB winning talented all returning O. A second season kicking butt as OC here would increase Moore’s value and options. Just takes one disaster as HC to destroy any future options at another chance. Saints aren’t going to be good…but could be a real embarrassing disaster. Not saying it’s right or fair…but reality. Only winning two games…or worse having moments looking like the Three Stooges…career killing. Think it will lock Moore in as an OC afterwards elsewhere. Mattwill says rumors are Saints threw big money at Moore to make it happen. So…for what he’s made…that’s a big deal.
