Mahomes played almost flawless the first time and made some nice plays running the ball at very key points during the game.AR dialed up perfection in that first SB matchup…all he had to do was beat it in Mahomes head to execute it. Beggining script Chiefs moved the ball. Mahomes got off script….as soon as he got back on script it was easy short completion after easy short completion.

We didn't draft him he was obtained during the draft. He was a LION and was drafted by themHe got here well before TC or any of that. You expect mastered perfection in one TC from our entire team even when learning a completely new O by game one…yet just not with Swift.

July 26, 2025Jul 26 "I think this is still the Eagles' offense. That won't change," Patullo said on Saturday morning before practice. "It starts with the run game up front and goes from there. And obviously, you like to try new things here and there and we'll see how that goes throughout Training Camp and where that leads us to."

I said "perhaps he had to unlearn what he knew while with the Lions" which may have been cause for an extra week to get our system down. There you go putting words in my mouth again. But really I'm done flogging this once again because you have to bring up crap from 5 years agoI'm happy with my team, I am happy with my coaches, I am happy with our culture, I am happy nearly every player wants to play here, I am happy we can make another run(maybe more but let's get through this year first). I am happy I bleed green and I am happily looking forward to another season of domination

He believes he is smarter than Lane Johnson and Jeff Stoutland, and that their Bye Week suggestions put the Offense backwards from achieving its potential.
July 27, 2025Jul 27 In a prior discussion about the SB 57 field and its impact on the Eagles D-Line, my personal opinion is that that slippery field would have affected the current D-Line and 2024-5 D-Line much less than the 2022-23 was affected … because the current D-Line’s greatest strength is its relentlessness as opposed to speed. That approach is a superb match to Fangio’s zone approach to the DBs and LBs … taking away the zone seam vulnerabilities as well as the quick release patterns over the middle. That affords the current D-Line le opportunity (dare I say luxury) of time in "coming together.”In addition to the development of Ojomo, the diversification/expansion of the role of Jordan Davis, and the integration of Vanilla Gorilla are going to be fun to watch. That is rich in and of itself, and doesn’t even include the development/involvement of Ojulari/Uche/APR.It’s a great tome to be an Eagles fan.
July 27, 2025Jul 27 @cunninghamtheman hearkening back to your Thomas Booker comment, the following tweet is very interesting

When they went to nickel, Booker came off the field. Here was what you posted … substituting Booker for Carter. Understandable given Carter’s staying on the sideline because of his shoulder.

July 27, 2025Jul 27 35 minutes ago, joemas6 said:29 slipsMy comment was mostly focused on the likelihood that that field wouldn’t affect this D-Line negatively. Their relentlessness has a much more stable base than the speed rush of the 2022-23 D-Line. Focus on the present looking forward rather than focus on the past.

He made a really strong cut in the backfield then exploded to the outside for a nice gain.He has some breakaway ability (he ran a 4.41 at the Combine), and he is a physical runner who likes trying to truck opposing defenders. Very fun highlight reel below:
