Again your lack of horticultural knowledge reaches up and bites you. More plants die from overwatering than any other cause. It is human nature to overwater. Even public gardens overwater. We think that more water will speed up growth, when in most cases the opposite is true.

If you are going to talk about horticulture, do some homework or take some visits to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square.

The Sodfather was 94 years old in 2023. He had more than earned his retirement.

You can do better.

Don’t need to do better…Sodfather was pissed they did that. Never witnessed field conditions so bad not related to the weather.

Then say that. Don’t say we drafted him. We didn’t "get him in the draft.” English Ham, English. Try it, you’ll like it.

Yeah I admitted on the nitpick I didn’t word it correct. Point being he didn’t arrive late like FL was suggesting…got him during the draft.

You don’t understand Goodell. The Tush Push merciful was all about creating headlines and buzz. It succeeded. Even the two stage voting kept it in the headlines. All to build audience.

Similarly, Mahomes is a golden boy, so your original thought that any bias was pro-Mahomes rather than anti-Eagles was probably right.

BTW, villains make great story lines, so Goodell trying to paint the Eagles as villains fits the audience building model as well.

Actually think the king building of Mahomes fits also. Really saw a large grouping really rallying around hating Mahomes and the Chiefs. Mahomes even mentioned it if I remember things correctly.

Harden to really come to that conclusion but so much. Clearly we had the far superior pass rush. But AR dialed up just quick hitting easy short completions the whole time. That negates the pass rush. Coverage was too soft. Not enough time fit any pass rushers to get home on those.

We needed Fangio, not a Fangio wannabe.

That 2023 field would not have affected the 2025 Eagles much at all. Their pass rush was more relentless than fast.

As I said, totally normal mistake to overwater when you aren’t seeing growth as fast as you want it to be.

Gannon is a good D mind. He was just totally distracted. Wouldn’t have been so bad if at least that SB wasn’t where his new job resided.

Nah…not buying that one bit. League guys came in to manipulate things…no reason to mess with what the Sodfather had totally under control all along. He was a well respected grounds keeper. Like you said he’d been doing it for ages.

No way!!!

The size of the audience was reported to be 127.7 million. What was the size of the large grouping you saw?

What are your horticultural credentials?

You aren’t paying attention. In the opinion of the NFL execs the grass wasn’t growing fast enough th be ready by the game, so they exercised executive privilege.

Further, Toma wasn’t in charge, or overruled. Ed Mangan, who used to work for Toma, was in charge.

You aren’t paying attention making excuses for Gannon.

He never indicated anything like Fangio’s interest in or appreciation for Linebackers. As a result Gannon defenses were vulnerable to quick release passes over the middle that moved the chains. Fangio took those away.

So No Mas what are you thinking about the head of the NFLPA situation? These things been going on…all of the sudden become an issue and our exposed forcing him to resign…right when Goodell is trying to push his agenda against us through.

There’s going to be a lot of money at that time. A lot. Did I say a lot? Could be enough to make everyone happy. There’ll be some rhetoric but I don’t think there will be delays, threats, strikes, etc.

Some of that is the HC philosophy on D. He stated the D main job is don’t give up the big plays.

There you go with "the agenda” again. Everything is Sirianni’s fault.

What makes you think Sirianni, an Offense guy, has a "HC philosophy on D”? Those angels must be whispering inside your head again.

Here is what the internet says Sirianni’s defensive philosophy is. Anything missing there?

Nick Sirianni's defensive philosophy centers on fundamentals, technique, and a coordinated effort. He emphasizes the importance of tackling, block destruction, and understanding defensive assignments to create a cohesive and effective unit. Sirianni also believes in fostering a team-first mentality and holding players accountable for their performance

Proper English ain't so forgiving...nor are our primary contributors. It seems that half of the dialogue contained herein is mere one-ups-manship.

The use of "during" in place of "in"related to the draft could have alleviated alot of this nonsense.

Agreed. A lot of the nonsense was giving Ham back a dose of his own medicine. He really does love to be right, even when he isn’t.

29 slips by the pass rush... Andy dialed up crap... Mahomes played almost flawless the first time and made some nice plays running the ball at very key points during the game.

I think its alot of Andy Reid too. Without all that Andy wouldn't be considered as good

Jordan Davis is great shape.... Campbell apparently looks great ,,, looking forward to watching this young defense with Baun as the oldest guy

Such a young defense

When he came here that was the only thing I heard him stress he demands from his D

That may have been the only thing you heard, but it was far from the only thing he has said. Your selective memory is a driving force in your biases.

Right, the Eagles never drafted Swift. When they(Lions) got Gibbs, Swift STILL wasn't drafted by us. get a grip man!!!!!!

So how did he get here late like you stated? You both can beat down that we got Swift during the draft…I slightly misworded…point was made….make sure you skip the actual point.
