But he made that one move completely saved and turned around our entire franchise. Rosie survived being fired after 2020 by so opposite being worse than just terrible….it was so bad it wasn’t a job a quality GM replacement would have accepted even. Credit Lurie more than anybody here…but really was a 2021 situation of at least let Rosie untangle as much of the disaster as could be accomplished. No additions or money to add anything for 2021 even as a possible option. Just get out from under so much past crap so any future could be advanced towards. Like..really that bad…so beyond bad…that’s what saved him.

2021 was impossible season for any to have survived. Rosie was actively scouting college QB draft class of 2022 as hard as you’ve ever witnessed. Terrible QB class though. Wasn’t any legit options. Rosie prepared and stacked the draft ammo deck with three first rounders.

But the impossible happened instead! That one great decision Rosie made in his worst season completely altered our franchise. Second round QB..right after signing Wentz to the largest contract ever for us. Hurts at such a young age and insufficient surroundings just wouldn’t accept defeat. Willed us to go on a run to finish the season making the playoffs. Impossible! Green HC dug a whole to begin the season…low talent…impossible!!! Everybody getting fired!

Only way around Rosie forced demands killing us digging that starting hole was Siri stepping back turning to Steichen. It was just that blindly terrible…to actually consider…but actually possible for those understanding how our organization functions.

Rosie stacking draft ammo to chase a draft QB. No QBs to consider the next draft even. Well…shouldn’t have been anyway. Caused the desperate to push Pickett so far up. Just can’t be any doubts now…in hindsight…it was obvious in the moment I thought we all understood. Rosie loved Pickett. Nobody else in that class to even consider. Had to help prop Pickett up looking superior to such a low bar.

Everybody fired after 2021. Nobody survived that situation. We actually give up multiple draft picks to move up for Pickett. That’s where our franchise was headed. Down…and worse.

But this crap team FL, what happened? We saw the lowest floor possible for a team lead by Hurts. First year so young far from ready and developed in a pathetic scheme. Siri was far from helping…he was dead weight needed to be carried along with everything else against the 2021 Eagles.

We saw it…some quality Oline…the only thing at all to aid Hurts at all. First year starting. Youngest least developed and experienced version of Hurts..very first year starting.

Completely transformed our franchise. Instead of giving up multiple picks chasing freakin’ Kenny Pickett in 2022. We would have been heading towards such a terrible time in Eagles history. Which we all are very aware is really tough to accomplish with the crap we’ve been through with this team.
