FL to answer your question without dodging…other Nickle options are Ricks and Mukuba. But your question was poor..in that…in base DeJean was to play outside and move inside in Nickle. You completely missed that whole key detail.

Ok…here’s the curve ball. No credit to myself…I believe it’s all the maestro Fangio. Fangio I think might have shocked DeJean putting him over his head so early outside to make the point of ‘you aren’t ready.’ But…got your back…”what I can do”(Fangio)…”and you can accel at right now is”…S. Nickle don’t get paid…but S sure do.

At least DeJean at S switching to Nickle depending on package. Drafted Mukuba to be S. But his weakness is size/duarabilty. Honestly wasn’t a guy I noticed to target day two myself. But…once drafted digging in…like the tape. Or…personally just like his playing style. Another.. but….immediately got hit with doubts to begin TC. Sidney isn’t Fangio’s guy either…also durability question marks. McCollum serviceable.

So the curve ball is what if Fangio switches DeJean full time to S this season? Could argue it’s the big team need along with he’s the best option to fill that role. While Mukuba maybe doesn’t work at S afterall right from the jump..maybe never.

What position could you place a smaller DB that can cover and loves to hit and tackle? Is everybodies answer Slot?

DeJean at S and Mukuba at Slot this season. I know it wasn’t the plan…but seems to make a ton of sense for me. Guess that’s my out of the box different mindset potential theory goes down this season. Maybe Ricks at Slot. New guy from the Raiders maybe? Spitballing Mukuba right now.

Nope never, how does it work with a BU QB?

You maintain the rights to a player to reap the benefits of forcing the most desperate team to surrender valuable assets to aquire your contracted player.

LMAO both TD123 and myself had McKee tagged LOOOOOONG before you,but we know it's always about you

I've never seen such an insecure person, always needs acknowledgment on every little thing. Always about himself.

This is about the Eagles... not any of us.

This is jumping years ahead of a situation that’s very current instead. I’m sticking to what can Rosie can get out of somebody much much sooner. Was pretty sure you,FL, were in agreement about McKee over Pickett all along. Wanted to give you that credit. Even No Mas believing McKee was only the third stringer and after one PS game flipped to McKee trade value at franchise QB forever unstoppable now…wins out here. He’s consistent at least…consistently wrong. Also consistently gobbles up any and everything Rosie has and will ever do as CAN DO NO WRONG. No Mas being wrong this time though just makes Rosie look all the more amazing. Turning the third stringer QB into unimaginable trade returns for us. It’s a lose..win. Any which way it’s a win for us all…being great for our franchise!

Hurts has more trade value and we can still win the Lombardi with McKee who is playing for peanuts right now.; He even showed he can perform the tush push

Wow…love the confidence and all…but now you’re stepping beyond NO MAs extreme even. Wish I could say I was surprised or shocked you suggested reading Hurts switching to McKee. No chance…so predictably expected from the guy favoring benching Hurts for Shew. #HurtsHater until the end. Not even SB MVP bringing the parade was going to affect you being so die hard against Hurts.

So you actually believe you can retain any credibility after sharing opinions such as this? Maybe it’s just more about #HurtsHate blinding you so utterly. I mean…wish I didn’t expect you’d say something exactly like this…could have practically quoted you yesterday saying this today…it’s just that pathetic and predictable. Carry on..guvna

Nothing to miss,Fangio will use him where he is best suited,I guess you're missing it

SO you want to tag a BU QB,which means you pay him bigger,so teams will have to put up more to get him? That is called pricing yourself out of the market

Go back a read my statements ten or twenty times until you follow along. Or just actually read all my actual thoughts for one time…for a change. How many statements have I just made about were reading McKee soon. It’s happening. I don’t want to tag McKee years from now. I want Rosie to shine with the fantastic trade piece he’s working with. A decent GM could make a great sale on McKee right now ..or soon enough. Practically can’t even be screwed up. Let’s be more optimistic though…Rosie is going to work this situation to perfection. QB Factory is going to pay off extending our Eagles dominance into completing our Dynasty run here…extending it on top of all that even.

It’s a tricky situation. Exactly why I’ve thought it very discussion worthy to dive all into as a subject. Lesser organizations, coaches and GMs the situation could easily be completely screwed up. But we have strength there. GM isn’t going to bend over backwards sally to please a good young player like that. HC…good at be consistent and honest ..while having most players back. The main key: Fangio. Fangio met this challenge head on. Fangio came right out to the press addressing this issue in the middle of nowhere football calendar. He wasn’t required to hold any press conferences or speak to the media one bit anywhere around that time. Takes more than X and O to be a great coach…though he checks that box with authority. Fangio got hold of any mic available to loudly applaud how outstanding DeJean is at Nickle. How he prefers him playing that position. Backs it up with a belief DeJean enjoys very much playing that position.

Ok…so first practice though…DeJean taking reps outside. So he got what he asked for. But…Fangio is one heck of a DC. Think he just might have given DeJean some glimpses. Like ..”believe in you kid…but you need more work on it.” But…how about S?

WHO replaces DeJean at slot CB if he moves to S?. Who do we have right now?

Why should he go back to read ... you don't do that for other people.

SO you want to deny "the big money" to Makuba instead?

You said I should know how tagging a BU QB works. I do not, please educate me

Howie got us there

I don’t want to discredit him. But…too simpleton thinking. Took much more than just Rosie. If we are going to credit one man the most? I’ll give it to Lurie first. But really just embarrassing you type such thoughts. At least we all can know where your opinions are coming from.

I prefer to go for a dynasty run... to become a dynasty you need that 2nd championship to start.... having a quality backup cheap QB is a great tool to win a championship. Also a great tool for sustained success in managing the salary cap.

The way the picks were flipped for Pickett and also getting another QB with an extended team control for another extra year.... works great as McKee develops into a good quality backup with 2 more years of team control. Beautiful QB factory of drafting guys and developing them at minimum $$$. Great QB factory. And then if it results into a comp pick, great bonus.

The factory of being able to draft and not having to go spend money.... a beautiful thing.

LMAO TD123 and I have been singing McKees praises well before he was even a thought for you. Stop with the I. me, my BS. Now suddenly you are onboard, but it was all about you thinking it was your thought? Please

You are going ON and ON about how much McKee could bring on a trade. Who is worth more McKee or Hurts? Take your time. Apparently(once again) you FAILED TO READ where I said I wouldn't trade Hurts. Such a fool. Show me ANY post on ANY page in ANY year where I said I hated Hurts

Who would you rank ahead of Howie ...within the Eagles organization at the moment, that has a better chance of getting into the pro football hall of fame? I think Lane will get in... a few young guys with a chance... Howie to me seems the more of a lock

LMAO if Pickett was QB3 and barely played he would never have left here. The FO knows what they are doing you do not

My track record right here speaks for itself. I’ll stand on it proudly. Had some misses. Needed to adjust my opine at times. But actually was b1tch1ing and complaining about exactly Rosie shortcomings for years well before he finally got there. Call it whatever pleases you..no doubts you will anyway. But I clearly was identifying Rosie weaknesses …which was exactly what he changed that made all this finally occur. I can’t say I could challenge him in his stead of strength though. Heck…looking like not many at all could/can. Simplest explanation surrounding it: I played football.

LMAO Lurie's job is to look good at cocktail parties, kiss babies and lead charity events. The heavy lifting is done by Howie whether you like it or not(or you are totally clueless which is where I will put my money)
