So there is no need to panic, but by the same token we need to figure this out. The D is saving games for us.

Nabers, Tyreek Hill carted off in Miami,we have injuries. They are piling up league wide once again

When speaking to the media on Monday (video link), head coach John Harbaugh revealed a return will not be taking place. Madubuike’s neck injury will leave him sidelined for the remainder of the campaign. Today’s news marks a major blow to a defense which exited Sunday with a number of high-profile injuries.

How would you like to be on a bowling team, not play, just sit at the bar eating fries every game, then celebrating when your team won the trophy? As a sportsman it should bother you. Think your team will be calling you to join them next year?

How many WRs had 9 targets this week?

33-26.... 31-25... all defense

ZERO completions in the 2nd half. I knew it was bad. I didn’t think it was THAT bad.

4-0; that is definitely the best part.

The only score after the half was a gift from the refs. No way that was a fumble.

Then Baker threw a horrible pick in the endzone.

Hurts threw the ball to AJ five times. One completion for negative yards. One completion for a first down. Two incompletions thrown way over his head out of bounds. One into double coverage that hit the Bucs guy between the numbers…HORRIBLE decision and throw. Got very LUCKY the defender cannot catch.

The offense can’t design some plays to get AJ more throws in the field of play? Hell, copy the Vikings or Rams plays. It’s not rocket science.

I suppose if Pryor was better than Steen then he would be in. I just wish they would be more creative in the running game. It is bad right now as it is predictable and the team is not executing effectively.

Which team looks better?

What do you propose as a solution?

Tuesday Morning Eagles-Broncos Game Score Predictions Update

With the Cowboys, Chiefs, Rams and Buccaneers all dispensed with, it is on to Week Five and the 15th meeting between the Eagles and Broncos. The current series stands at Eagles with 9 wins and Broncos with 5 wins.

So as we do each week, we are gathering Game Score predictions. As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  I will be taking predictions right up until Kickoff. If someone posts a prediction without a tag, please reply to it including the @mattwill tag.

@Screaminbeagle was the winner of the Week Four chicken dinner with the closest prediction.

In the first four weeks the closest predictors have been

@Freshmilk and @Bwestbrook36 in Week One's 72 predictions

@just relax in Week Two's 55 predictions

@Diehardfan in Week Three's 56 predictions

@Screaminbeagle in Week Four's 61 predictions

For those of you who missed it, the results of the Week Four predictions can be viewed at the link below.

Late turnover, yes. Lead to, not so much. They never trailed, so arguably the Latu/Brown blocked punt for a TD was the play that led to the victory. Everything else followed that tone setting and point scoring play.

yes, like i said somewhat right on the late bucs turnover prediction. it happened, but it didn't lead to points for the eagles.

i agree with your 2nd statement 100%, that play was huge in setting the tone.

Luckily we only play there once a year

Poor Giants players play there 8 times a year

Good point. The comment below offers the same advice but with a lot more words.

I'm usually not one to rag on sports radio for starting narratives, but I'm listening today and everyone's ranting about how they're so sick of AJ Brown and I'm like how do you not even see that you're the ones feeding the beast and you alone. AJ Brown has never been a problem within the Eagles organization, no matter how many people try to make him one, and it's the media turning a post into some mega thing. I'm not even saying he isn't frustrated, he obviously is, but that doesn't mean he hates being here or his teammates hate him. That narrative, or the implications of it, is coming purely from the media. None of that has ever come from the Eagles. They speak highly of him every single chance they have, they've voted him team captain.

They're creating a narrative and then sick of that own narrative they've created.

I had to turn off the radio myself. Just brutal. Like I said before, you have to live here to know the 5 to 10% quality content, and when to listen.

I noticed the change in the Philly media a while back. They were absolutely dumbfounded in 2017 .... not having anything to complain about.

2023 was their favorite year.... it's like having Ham on the radio for 24 hours a day except no left field stuff just the complaining part. They need to complain. Not happy unless they are complaining about something.

But this time it's a little different as some of the level headed insiders seem to be ok, understanding how good this team is.

The better and closer our squad is to being capable of winning it all….thats when each nitpicking detail becomes magnified. A rebuilding team with no real chance to contend I don’t really get uptight about. It sucks…disappointing. Having twenty different shortcomings you just have to accept as…not our year. Too much for anything to be done that season. It’s when we put together a situation like 2022-2025 that I find it’s time to really cross all the T and dot the I. Just killed me how in 2022 we kept that terrible P…even when he was injured. 7 win team a terrible P wouldn’t even bother me.

5% has to be when ray diddy is on the air and that is becoming less and less.

IDK there should be higher standards. The league keeps making rules and players keep getting hurt more and more it seems. IDK what the answer is. Concussions are down but leg

Zero WR contributions. Why pay them big money?

Getting the WR's we pay massive amounts to involved in the offense because that's why we pay them the big money. Like paying corporate VP money to your janitor
