So the ‘norm’ is to interview coaches before you fire the current ones under contract?

If you think it will improve your team sure. You have to check it out and thats what we did. It also lights a fire under Siris butt.Failure and collapse is no longer an option

Thought you wanted to save cap space?

There you go. Now that’s the appropriate question. Is the goal to try and achieve 9 wins and just be competitive? Or are we trying to win Championships? If you aren’t contending …then signing Saquan just lowers our draft pick while eating up cap.

Here is your issue.

1.  We made two great trades. Steals with Miami and Saints... you = it was all for a QB

2. We extend Smith ( obvious move)  you = let's trade AJ

3.  We signed Barkley to 3 year deal ( half the cap hit of Pollard)   you = We are all in let's mortgage the future

Why can't obvious good moves, simply be obvious good moves?   The trade extended Smith and signing Barkley are all good moves... all more than just one year.

Like every little thing has to be exaggerated into something extreme ALL THE TIME!!!

Ehhh... in 2022...not last year.

When your leader fails, you go down with the ship. The captain steered us into an iceberg

The captain of the ship being the HC Siri

Who was our best defender last year then, according to you?

Reddick posted quality numbers in 2023, recording 11 sacks and 38 tackles (13 for loss), earning a second straight trip to the Pro Bowl. He wasn't quite the same game-changing force as he was in the prior year, though, and after enjoying quality production from Reddick at an incredibly affordable rate ($6.9 million cap number in 2023), the Eagles weren't too interested in watching that number jump to $21.8 million in 2024 (or carrying his $14.6 million dead cap number in 2025).

Siri didn't drop the ball in the SB. Siri didn't take a pee wee Safety in TB

Sure

So no educated discussion can even possibly be had

Even Hurts said "It's on me" and it is,yet you don't believe what you own guy tells you

Love how that guy wasn’t going to throw others under the bus. Yet seems like that’s really the big complaint about his demeanor last season during the slide.

Was absolutely stupid move.

I didn’t look at Pollard in that light the whole way. But the dumbest move would have been signing him at top market price long term. Total disaster if they actually went through with that. Which most reports were they considering.

Why do you think QB is the highest paid position?

But you are calling it an interview... who else is calling it that?

That’s become very clear now the level it actually got to.

Failure and collapse was ever acceptable?

We are paying like 22 mil for him to play for the Jets

But this is the stuff you do to rebuild. Get younger and clear cap. Not ink vet RBs to top dollar contracts.

Yeah Siri got our QB1 and WR1 injured in the meaningless last game of the season right before that. Totally worth losing AJ that last game to miss the playoffs…. not.

I want to win the SB

Totally understand the downfalls of backloaded contracts. Even in the case of signing Reddick which was a steal of a signing.

Because it’s not a team sport and just a individual athletic sport (heavy sarcasm in case you missed it again to clarify)

What are we drafting players for here then? Fit? To fit what or whom? Siri? Moore? Fangio? Are any of these guys going to be here past this season?

Odds would be highest for Fangio returning I’d think between betting Siri, Moore and Fangio.

Actually I guess it was. Give you that one FL.

Guess we are rebuilding team. The Saquan move kind of blinded me to this fact. Thought we were making a go of things the next two seasons.
